Heaven Eleven (H11) was built by one of the best known log home builders in the area. After refining his plans elsewhere, Steve finally constructed Heaven Eleven for his wife Karen and their wideflung family--including 11 grandchildren. They really enjoy couple time and having a house full of joy, friends and family who revel in the peace and fellowship of the mountain and their home. You will, too!
Heaven Eleven sleeps and dines six in open concept comfort, with both the downstairs great rooms and upstairs family room loft. Large windows to the woods, and a dramatic stone fireplace make entertaining and gathering near the fire or kitchen easy. The well appointed master bedroom and bath are spacious and completely tucked away in privacy from the other first floor spaces. Washer and dryer are easily accessible off the kitchen. The loft looks down into the great room, but also past the stacked stone fireplace to the surrounding lush woodlands. Luxurious leather couches invite you upstairs for after dinner conversations or board games. Two twin beds fit comfortably on the loft as well, while a private guest room with full bath complete the second floor.
With lots of natural wood, stone and sunlight throughout, Heaven 11 is surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. FDR Park trail heads are a short hike away; Callaway Gardens and Warm Spring, home to the Little White House museum and springs are 15-20 minute drives away. In spring, summer, fall and winter, this gorgeous but modern cabin is cozy and filled with natural light, but also the creature comforts of central heat and air, jacuzzi and a wonderful custom fireplace. Sorry, no pets allowed; and no internet offered. This is a place for folks to enjoy one another away from the bustle of daily lives and city streets. We welcome you to Heaven Eleven.
