Great place! Very close to the train, bars, restaurants and coffee shops. The apartment is very comfortable and has what you need to spend a couple of days. Nathan is an excellent host, very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again.
My sister and her boyfriend stayed here for 2 nights. They liked it a lot. Nathan was very friendly!
Excellent location, Great host!
The place is excellent for those who want to know Brooklyn and Williamsburg especially, but is just six minute bicycle ride from Manhattan
The room is spacious, clean and very comfortable; The house owner is a great host, Nathan is in every detail to make your stay the best.
Ideal for those who want to live a few days as a real New Yorker.
Very welcoming host, room and apartment very clean, grest area
Nathan is a very nice guy and the room is great.
Lovely host & perfect location in peaceful apartment.
I would recommend this apartment to anyone travelling to New York on a budget. The apartment was very peaceful and occupied by 2 people who live and work in the city. This gave me an authentic experience and a feel for what it would be like to live there....Something a hotel can't offer. I had my own space, but at the same time there were friendly people there with smiles & lots of advice when I needed it. The apartment faces onto a busy overpass, but there was something comforting in the sounds of bustling traffic. A real NY feel. There couldn't have been a perfect location for those who want to experience both Manhattan & Brooklyn. A few blocks away is one of the best areas of Williamsburg and a block in the other direction - a subway to Manhattan. The apartment is the closest you can get to Williamsburg bridge. Everything was so accessible, which is perfect when you want to cram lots in. I found Nathan to be very friendly, helpful & respectful which instantly put me at ease considering I was travelling alone.
In a more general sense, Brooklyn is much more fun & chilled out than Manhattan itself. In my opinion. Lots of young vivacious people who create a buzzy atmosphere, with a very high standard of endless bars & restaurants. And with Manhattan a 10 min subway ride away, why pay the prices of the city!
I literally can't fault my experience, and for those who don't need the glamour of a shiny hotel and are more interested in the experience itself - this apartment is for you.
