About Irina Yatsenko and Barry Harmer
Irina and Barry are your hosts, but you may not get to meet us as we travel a lot whilst our home is occupied by guests. We have a team of helpers, led by our daughter Polina who lives in an adjacent flat accessible via the back garden gate. We like to make ourselves available to our guests by setting up a WhatsApp group to allow you to ask us questions, or us to pass on information to you. We have been hosting guests since July 2016 (through another web based company) and our guests have been very happy with both the standard of the accommodation and the support we offer. Please feel free to contact us via Homeaway if you have any questions about our property or the local area and we will be glad to answer them.

Why Irina Yatsenko and Barry Harmer chose St. Mark's
We wanted a new modern spacious house. The girls had become teenagers and wanted their own bedrooms, and we also wanted a guest bedroom for visitors. The bonus was 3 bathrooms, so the girls had their own bathrooms... and we did not have to wait! We were already living in the area, and did not want to move away as we liked the friendly village feel of Surbiton, but with Central London so accessible. We enjoyed walking along the river to a night out in Kingston, or going to Richmond Park and its wide open spaces, fantastic views over London and the Surrey Hills, and the not to miss Isabella Plantation in spring with its world famous collection of Camellias, Magnolias, Rhododendron and Clematis (Google Isabella Plantation). Children love the wild deer roaming in the park. London is only 30 mins away in one direction and the open countryside 15 mins in the other direction. The M25 that links all the motorways radiating from London 15 mins drive away. As the house is only 13 miles from Piccadilly Circus, I used to regularly cycle in when visiting clients in London.

Lovely house - great location
Great family home with good transport links to London. We enjoyed a family Christmas get together here.
Lovely house, very comfortable, exactly as described!
We loved staying at this house in Surbiton. We had plenty of space even with 8 people, there was room enough for us all to relax in the living room, or the kids would enjoy playing in the fenced in back yard. It was an easy walk to Surbiton station which has regular trains into London with restaurants and shops nearby (we loved the Pickled pantry for breakfast and Magic Wok or Seashore were both great after a long day in London).
Irina and Barry were excellent hosts, very accommodating and even provided a weekly cleaning service during our 3 week stay.
Wonderful house, we would definitely stay again!!
Thank you, Thomas! You and your family are great guests to host!
