Kiawah Island already holds the distinction of having the toughest golf course in America. Now, Coastal Living Magazine named the island the 'Happiest Seaside Town,' in the U.S. As a barrier island, it is home to 10 miles of unspoiled fine-sand beach; wild growing palmetto, oak and magnolia trees; various mammals and rare birds. Kiawah is the ideal vacation spot with easy access to commerce and culture. In addition, the readers of Conde Nast Traveler have determined that the combination of Charleston and Kiawah Island is unmatched anywhere else in the word. Kiawah Island ranked as the top island in the US in this year's 2014 Readers' Digest Choice Awards.
Our three bedroom, two bath cottage is located in the private subdivision of Inlet Cove, which is along the Kiawah River. Two of the bedrooms have queen size beds; the third bedroom has twin beds. The master bedroom has access to the deck and screened-in porch. A fully equipped kitchen with dinette, dining room and living room complete the living area of the cottage. The location is only a five minute walk to both the ocean and Inlet Cove pool.
The cottage is very clean and beautifully decorated. It sleeps 6 comfortably. It has ceramic tile floors and carpet. Pool. No pets/smoking permitted.
One can view the wildlife of the island while relaxing on the screened porch. Spectaular sunsets can be viewed while walking on the beach and from the viewing area near the fishing/boat dock adjacent to the Inlet Cove pool. Dolphins are often seen from these locations.

We reserved 77 Inlet Cove for the last week of October. We had wonderful weather with warm sunny days which were ideal for riding bikes, walking on the beach and visiting Charleston. We had rented from Joan before but were pleased to see that she had made a lot of nice updates! The cottage was clean, well decorated and comfortable. Joan is very easy to work with and always prompt about getting back with you.
Inlet Cove is our favorite Kiawah neighborhood with beautiful views of the Kiawah river, a really nice pool and an easy walk to the beach.
Thank you for your complimentary review. We enjoy having you as our guests and look forward to a continued relationship.

Very nice cottage in a great resort
This was our family's first time in Kiawah Island. The resort was very nice and the cottage was perfect for our family of five. 3 good sized bedrooms and 2 full baths. Kitchen, dining area, and living room were nicely furnished and spacious. We used the enclosed screen porch in the mornings and evenings. Cottage was very clean, updated nicely, and the owners were extremely helpful and responsive to any question or issue we had before, during, and even after our trip. They really wanted our vacation to be special. The cottage was just a short walk to the beach and the pool. Everything very nice and well maintained. The beach was one of the nicest we have ever visited. Sand was so nice and clean - no rocks or shells. When the tide was out we could ride our bikes for miles down the beach. There are a lot of good restaurants and activities within driving distance of the resort. We also used the bbq and well-supplied kitchen many times. This was one of our favorite vacations and we would definitely recommend this cottage.
Thank you for your kind words in the review. We try to make everyone's experience a positive one. Also, we enjoy knowing that others enjoy the cottage as much as we do.
My sisters and their families come to Kiawah every summer. We rented 3 houses located inside Inlet Cove. My husband and I shared one house with adult children. Our house was the cleanest and less cluttered of all the other cottages. It is decorated nice but not overdone.
The owners were very resposive to our emails prior to booking and sent us important information prior to our trip.
We love to ride bikes and take long walks on the Island. The scenery is beautiful at Kiawah!
Steve and I are very happy that you had a wonderful week on the island. We thank you for your kind words.
