It is best known for it's Lobster, Art and independence and social spots. I have been the proprietor of Coastline View for 32 years. The Cottage has a full size kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a full size platform bed. The other bedroom has a twin over a full bed. I do Not allow Smoking and only moderate alcohol consumption please.
Our charming village is within walking distance along the waters edge to the store, restaurants and Post Office.
Other amenities are Wi-Fi, cable a smart TV, two decks and a grill, deck furniture. Linens and personal supplies are provided.
Other Local activities are Kayaking and paddle boarding. Drift Inn Beach our public beach where vacationers go for fun in the sun, swimming, leisure and socializing. Marshall Point Light House is pretty famous for any camera lover. It has a beautiful park, museum and gift shop, benches and picnic tables. Monhegan Fairy Boat Line offers Sunset Cruses and Puffin Cruses.
There are Private Charter Tours courtesy of Linda Bean's 'Wyeth's by Water' in her lovely fiberglass Lobster Boat the name is Linda Losh.
The Monhegon Boat line travels twice a day to Monhegan Island which is a short walk from your rental.
I reccomend 'The Happy Clam' restaurant in Tenants Harbor for sea food or German cuisine.
Fisherman's Co-Op for fresh Lobster and the Fish Market either at the store or Fisherman's Market on Marshall Point.

Art Galleries of Rockland: The Farnsworth Art Museum where world famous Andrew Wyeth and family have opened their own Art Museum including an Old Church for son Jamie Wyeth works. There are prints available at The Farnsworth Gift Shop a great place to get lost for a few hours.The Olsen House is another art museum in Cushing Maine, the setting for Christina's World where the subject lived and was painted. It is one of the most famous paintings ever done by Andrew Wyeth there are daily tours.
Hiking trails and map available through Parks and Recreation here in Town. Biking, Dinning, gift shops, Fresh Vegetables: I sell Peaches and Maine Blueberries when in season.
Camden and Freeport are exciting shopping trips on a rainy day. The Botanical Gardens in Boothbay Harbor is spectacular. It has a Huge Fairy Forest for Building houses. Children of all ages. It is another great day away.
Antiques of Wiscasset and a Great experience at Sarah's Restaurant and than come back here for a Gorgeous Sunset.
