About the property

Reflection Cottage is a charming two-bedroom cottage set amid towering pine trees and just a two-block stroll from the lake. This is the perfect summer getaway at the lake for up to six guests in a comfortable home with hardwood floors and a gas fireplace. The master bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, the second bedroom has two twin beds, and two more can sleep on the full-size futon in the living room. Start your day with a soak in the full-size tub or with a quick shower before you take a short walk to Main Beach. Or stay home and enjoy the sun on the partially covered deck over the garage as you lounge, barbecue on the gas grill, or enjoy a meal with friends around a table for six. If you feel like spending a little time indoors, relax in comfortable armchairs and play a board game from the collection in the armoire --or just kick back and watch a little cable or a DVD. A full kitchen allows you to cook your own meals, and all your laundry needs can be taken care of with the washer and dryer (we provide dishwasher and laundry detergents for you). For those who need to stay connected to life back home, take advantage of free wireless internet. Everything about Reflection Cottage lends itself to the restful stay you're looking for.

The cottage is ideally located with easy access to plenty of activities and attractions. At Main Beach you'll find safe swimming areas, playgrounds for the kids, picnic areas and a boat launch. For those who aren't bringing a boat with them, power boats, jet skis, catamarans, kayaks and more can be rented at the beach. A few blocks in the other direction is Cultus Lake Water Park with thrilling water slides, a new children's adventure playground and everything in between. Across the street from the water park is Giggle Ridge miniature golf as well as restaurants, a corner store and an ice cream stand. Add to that the beautiful golf courses, hiking trails, and the winery just across the lake, this is the place for the perfect summer vacation.

Why Dave Lothian chose Vancouver Coast & Mountains

Cultus Lake is a summer vacation spot that we've been coming to since we were children. There are memories of swimming at the lake, eating ice cream on the beach, camping trips with our families, and youth group sing-a-longs. The mist over calm water early in the morning, the trees on the hillside in the afternoon sun, and the bright stars on a clear night are what have kept us coming back over the years. Owning this cottage has allowed us to enjoy the beauty of this area a little more, and we'd love to share it with you.

What makes this cottage unique

The most unique feature of this property is the rooftop deck that not only offers a better view of the area, but also provides a place to sunbathe, barbecue and dine away from the crowds at the beach.

Great Cottage/Great Hosts

  • 4 of 5

A very nice cottage stocked with everything you would want. The cottage was very clean and the roof top patio certainly expanded the living space. A great location only minutes away from the lake. Dave was a great host who ensured that we were looked after. We are already planning a return visit.

Third time at this cottage !

  • 5 of 5

The rooftop patio is definitely one of the best features, besides being a few feet away from the lake. The location to everything is perfect. I love the character of the cottage. It's nice to keep coming back to our home away from home. Thanks for the memories ! I wish it was my own.

Could be really great with some TLC

  • 3 of 5

The inside of this property is very tastefully decorated with an updated kitchen and bathroom. The bedrooms had very comfortable beds and lovely furniture. We did however have to open the windows and doors to air the home out, the musty smell was unbearable upon arrival, it did get better after several hours. The rooftop patio is very nice however, the landscaping around the cottage was completely neglected, we weeded a bit as it was pretty bad, we didn't want to be outside of the cabin as it was a terrible eye sore.

great cottage at cultus

  • 4 of 5

Great location with just a short stroll to the lake. Cottage is well stocked with dishes, cookware etc. The rooftop patio is a great spot to relax and have a bbq. Also has a peek a boo view of the lake from the deck. Parking for 3 cars and wireless Internet it has everything you need. The beds could use a little updating in our opinion. The queen bed is very soft and the futon in the living room is very thin and hard. Again this is just our opinion and we would stay there again!
