Excelent location for Oregon Shakespeare Festival
Fantastic location for OSF. Quiet historic part of Ashland. Off street parking with a steep driveway. Stairs. Deck and garden area easily accessible. Two bedrooms with one bath with 4 adults was a minor issue. Kitchen well equipped for breakfast. Too far for us to walk to OSF. Good value.
Late night noise
There are two rental units, each on a different level. Our unit was on the bottom and there is little or no sound insulation between the two units. In bed at night we could clearly hear a lot of people walking about (sounded like stomping). Loud music was played both nights at 11:30 p.m.
We had a very nice stay at the Jessel house garden level apartment, especially given the 90+ degree temps, we were cool and comfortable on the lower level. Big enough for two couples inside and with very comfortable beds. It might be a tad dark during the winter months, but we spent most of our time there outside on the deck, in the shade of the deck above. No one was in the unit above us at the time so it was very quiet. There are also comfortable lounge chair in the adjacent yard which was lovely; we even moved the table out to the yard to eat one night to have a bit more dining space and air circulation. We walked into town during the day but preferred to have a car after the theatre as it's a bit uphill and dark.
Great location, easy access to downtown Ashland and the OSF theaters.
We had a great experience here. The unit is very traditional, nothing modern but that is the appeal of it. Excellent location close to downtown Ashland. It has AC for hot days, it has 2 bedrooms with one queen bed each. It also has a sofa bed. Easy parking.
The owner left custome welcome notes for us upon arrival with clear instructions, more than enough towels, kitchen and fridge not super modern but all works Well.
Great place, very clean and perfect location.
Beautiful site and great location. Little hilly for walkers but nothing too bad.
Lovely cottage, perfect location and VERY helpful owner
The cottage was well equipped and a nice size for 2 couples. There was room in the living room for sitting and reading, etc. Unfortunately we had a few cold rain storms so did not get to enjoy hanging out in the lovely garden. We did though take some great walks and were also able to walk into town for our plays- less than a mile. Tim was VERY helpful and lent us blankets to keep us warm while at the Elizabethan at 44 degrees!
