Located in the heart of Asheville's eclectic and vibrant central business district, this third-story loft allows our friends and guests to experience our jewel of a city in a very comfortable and convenient venue. This downtown retreat, in one of Asheville's historic buildings from the early 1900s, is located midway between Prichard Park and Pack Place. With this location, all of downtown’s varied activities are within a few blocks distance.

Our place is up fitted with quality components and amenities to make your stay in Asheville memorable. Furnishings include a fully-operational kitchen for our friends and guests desiring to prepare some of their own meals, even though Asheville boasts many unique quality restaurants and eateries.

An elevator services our place, thus flights of steps are not an issue for quick retreats to the privacy of our urban loft from the ever-changing and exciting downtown Asheville scene.

Music, museums, restaurants, crafts, fine arts, clubs, and parks are all part of our front and back yards. We have a magnificent view of the Appalachian Mountains framing the historic Grove Park Inn. We hope you will enjoy our place as much as we do!

The bedroom has a queen size bed with additional sleeping space on the queen size sofa sleeper in the living room. Hardwood floors throughout, Hunter ceiling fans, central air conditioning, and furniture made in the arts and craft style make for a very comfortable and pleasant space.

About The Owner

We bought into our building with a partnership of several friends back in 2001. We converted our building into a mixed use historic restoration including retail/office/restaurant space on the street levels with residential lofts on the upper three floors. The well renowned Lobster Trap seafood restaurant is located on the street level of our building and has a micro beer brewery with a full sports bar.

Why The Owner chose Asheville

I have lived in Asheville for over 30 years and have seen Asheville grow into one of the country's greatest small towns. Plus Asheville is surrounded by the Appalachian and Smoky Mountains.

What makes this condo unique

We are one of very few downtown lofts in the Central Business District available for short term leases and are right in the middle of ground zero for all the restaurants and nightlife of Asheville. You can't imagine how convenient our location is. There is an affordable and safe public parking deck across the street from our building's entrance.

Great location in Asheville

We stayed at Bill's condo for a family getaway in November. I can't imagine a better spot for the price in Asheville: right downtown with a parking deck across the street. Not that the profiles pictures were bad, but I thought the place looked even better in person which tends to not always be the case. It was clean and comfortable. If you don't feel like staying in there are numerous restaurants within a stone's throw. There is even a good coffee shop right nearby for your morning fix (the condo does have a coffee maker, though).

We had our 8 month old daughter with us. The closet in the bedroom was just the right size to fit a pack and play in and serve as her "bedroom". Other than taking up most of the floor space in the living room this was the best option. So if you have a little one with you the condo can accommodate.

Bill was prompt with response to inquiries and emails. My wife also left her hair dryer there by accident and it was in the mail the next day after she contacted him about it.

Overall I would definitely stay here again, and totally recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the middle of downtown Asheville.

Great location and helpful owner

This condo provided the perfect lodging for our group of four (me, my husband, our young adult daughter and niece) during our stay in Asheville. The place is super clean, modern and fully stocked. Bill responded right away to all emails and calls (and even followed up when I missed an email) and left clear instructions. Best of all, the condo is located right in the heart of this fun city AND adjacent to a parking garage. Not that you'll need your car, because Asheville is a walking (or dancing, or skipping ...) kind of town!

SUPER STAY IN ASHEVILLE

My wife and I have just stayed 9 wonderful days in Asheville at a super nice condo. We really enjoyed our stay and the apt. was great. The excitement in town was electric and everyone was very nice. The condo was even better than was the description on VRBO. Bill the owner was very easy to work with and the place was spotless. We really had a great time and would recommend this condo to anyone that wanted a great place to stay. We will be BACK. Thanks, Bill for lettings us stay in your unit.

Great location right downtown

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the apartment and we loved it! I lived in Asheville for 2 years prior and I am

Always looking for places to stay right downtown. It is located right off of College Street so it is within walking distance to everything. We rented a car and there are two parking garages located across the street from the apartment, which makes it easy. It's $10 a day to keep the car in the garage. The apartment itself was very comfortable and clean and there is everything you could possibly need including a washer and dryer. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay downtown. We will definitely be back!!

Great Place to Stay in Asheville!!

The location of the loft is excellent. It is walking distance to all of the restaurants and attractions downtown. The loft is even nicer than the photos reflected. It was very clean and very well maintained.

I was a little disappointed that there was no coffee or laundry soap available. I would definitely recommend this property to our friends and relatives.
