2 bedroom accommodation to sleep 5 in Bairro Alto, down town Lisbon
- english, spanish, portuguese
well read and well traveled, speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. People say that I am a nice person but I will let you decide. I do my best to please my customers. I am available most of the time
Why Aida chose Lisbon Old Town
I bought and decorated the apartment as if I was going to live there, so most of my customers say that it is a home from home.
What makes this Apartment unique
the location is excellent in a quiet street in Bairro Alto. There are no bars, restaurants or shops in the street but they are in a walking distance. It is so quiet that some customers 'complain' that they oversleep the first night. It is an apartment with lots of day light and sun

Lisbon rental property
Great location. Everything you need for a short or longer term rental. Enjoyed this property very much. I recommend this property for anyone vacationing in Lisbon. I would definitely try to stay at this property again.
This beautiful apartment allowed for three of us to have our space and be close to so many parts of Lisbon. We walked all over the area and easily accessed the metro or trolley. Our host was welcoming and helpful.
Very nice apartment
The apartment had everything we needed. Location was convenient. We were met promptly at the apartment. Keeping in mind the apartment is on a very steep street and no elevator to second floor.
Thank you for your feedback. Indeed the street is steep one one side, on the other side is almost flat. It is difficult to put an elevator on a 1850 building. Sorry for that. I hope you've found the location important as it is close to everything (public transportation, restaurants, snack bars supermarket and even a rooftop bar), and on a really quiet street..
This was an excellent flat for our four day stay in Lisbon. It was clean and well equipped. The welcome arrangements were fine and fitted in with our flights.
The position of the property was excellent for seeing Lisbon. Many attractions were in walking distance and there was the local novelty of catching trams and elevators when necessary. Nearby restaurants were friendly (but not pushy) and they had convenient opening times after a day of sightseeing.
The only downside was the huge numbers of tourists (of which we were 3!) which meant considerable time consuming queuing. On reflection we would try to visit such places as Belem tower later in the afternoon when the coaches may have departed. We found a quiet and uncrowded haven in the Botanical gardens which is about 25 minutes walk uphill from the flat. The Oceanario is impressive in its modern surroundings but the more historic Lisbon, such as the superb Mosteiro dos Jeronimos, is preferable.
Great flat in the heart of everything
Lovely and cozy apartment in Bairo Alto, near all the sites, restaurants and everything else Lisbon has to offer.
Warm and comfortable apartment in Lisbon
We've been traveling through Europe for the past month and this is by far our most favorite apartment. Apart from being perfectly located and within walking distance to everything, the apartment has lots of natural light, big windows and a comfortable layout. The kitchen is well equipped and the grocery store just 3 short blocks away is stocked with beautiful vegetables and everything we needed for hearty breakfasts. Margarida met me on the first day and was super helpful with restaurant suggestions and a tutorial of the area. The only thing missing was a clothes dryer but, this is Portugal after all. We loved our stay here and hope to return! Thank you!
Located in Bairro-Alto, the historical center of Lisbon , near the famous tram nº 28 to go on an exciting city tour starting at the Basilica da Estrela and ending in Graça. It is very near the Elevador da Bica, The Chiado Museum, the Brasileira Cafe, São Carlos Opera (with a great restaurant), D. Maria Theatre, the great view from the terrace of Regency hotel in Rua Nova do Almada and the Hotel in Largo de Camões. In walking distance to Principe Real Garden where underneath you will find an enormous Reservoir built in the 19th century. Bairro Alto has an intense night life with small but good restaurants, fado and wine shops. There is the Feira da Ladra in Campo de Santa Clara on Tuesdays and Saturdays morning or if you prefer a very good restaurant where in Summer you can have dinner grilled fish, you can chose Patio 13 or the Santo Antonio. another place is Belém where, nearby, you can eat the world famous Pastel de nata. Within walking distance find The Mosteiro dos Jerónimos.
