This home is a recently renovated 3 bedroom, two story cabin located adjacent to 500 plus acres of beautiful ranch land. It comfortably sleeps 6, with an on request air-bed or futon for additional child. Country regulations determine the max. occupancy and our 6 adult limit represents this. Rental includes access to the Kiva boat launch ($40 -paid by renter- boat launch fee required for each launch event, 1 trailer limit) and swimming area for guests listed on the contract. Views of Lake Tulloch can be seen from almost every window. The cabin is 1400 sqft and has decks on three sides. Please note, this is not a waterfront home, no overnight dock, and that there are stairs up to the house as well as stairs inside to the second floor bedrooms. The house is cooled with an evaporative cooler and small air conditioner. The house will be warm during prolong hot spells, but our visitors spend most of the daylight time on the lake or at nearby attractions. Rental price reflects these points. This rental is not suitable for toddlers.
Lake Tulloch is well known for all types of water sports, from fishing to jet skiing, making the cabin the perfect get away spot for couples and families who want to make lasting memories. If you are looking for a party house, this is not the rental for you.
The cabin is perfectly located for day trips to Yosemite, wineries, historical Gold Country towns, and snow skiing in the winter. It is about a two hour drive from the bay area, and a wonderful spot to recharge and reconnect with friends and family.
The cabin is located right down the road from award winning Saddle Creek Resort and Golf Course, giving you one more activity to add to your must-do list. Ask for local rate when reserving your tee time.
I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed our stay! We have rented a few other homes on Lake Tulloch, some on the water, but this was by far our favorite! The setting was so beautiful and peaceful and the cabin was perfect for our family of 5! We weren't sure what to expect, but it definitely exceeded our expectations! Having no TV really made us focus on family and the simple things in life that we all forget about. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Everyone at the Kiva resort where we launched our boat were very friendly and helpful. It was a very short drive to get down there. Having the private swim area was great for the kids! We all had a great time and plan to go back again this summer. Thank you Regina for trusting our family with you little peace of paradise! We can't wait to go back!
This is a piece of peace on a hill, with deer visiting morning and night, very quiet with beautiful lake views and sunrises and sunsets. Everything you need except TV (probably why it was so great!) and comfortable. Very easy access to tourist spots, Murphys, Columbia, Big Trees. Our grandson was 'over the moon'.
We stayed at this cabin for 4 nights. The owners met us at the cabin when we arrived. They were very friendly and hospitable, wonderful people. :-) My kids said it was the best vacation they ever had, 12 and 10 years old. The cabin was fully furnished, clean, beautiful and cozy. I slept like a baby every night....so quiet and peaceful. There were 4 deer that would visit us every day at the cabin--they would come to eat the fallen plumbs in the front yard, and we even saw a fox climbing the rocks in the back! The view of the lake from the cabin is gorgeous, and watching the sunrise and sunset from the balcony deck is breathtaking. We went swimming and fishing at the lake..so refreshing and relaxing. We bought groceries at a local market and prepared our own meals-everything you need is in kitchen. Yosemite National Park is also about 1 hour and 15 minutes away from the lake. We spent a whole day at Yosemite also. We had a wonderful time! Can't wait to go back. Thank you!
