This 4 Bedroom 2 Bath Home Sleeps 11 And Is decked out For Entertaining
This home has it all. It is completely remodeled and sits on over half an acre of beautiful land overlooking Lake LBJ and the Hill Country. The open concept space works very well for a larger group with the living room, kitchen, dining room and bar area opening to a screened-in porch with views of the pool and lake. The home is outfitted with top-of-the line Viking appliances and boasts 4 refrigerators. The kitchen is made for entertaining and includes a gas stove, oven, built in coffee maker/cappuccino maker, bread warmer and vegetable steamer. It is fully stocked and ready for you to enjoy.
There are 4 bedrooms each with its own flat screen TV/cable box and large storage space. The 2 bathrooms are completely updated and include glass walk-in showers with rain faucets.
The entertainment options (Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, HBO Go, Sirius, BluRay, Amazon Video and surround sound stereo) will more than satisfy should you feel the need to listen to music or watch TV. The screened porch boasts a gas grill with food warmer and refrigerator. It has a nice seating space with an outdoor tv connected to an Amazon Fire stick.
The backyard is large and gated to keep kids and pets away from the lake when the adults aren’t around. The pool is very large with a shallow wading area and deep end. It has plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas to stay out of the sun. There is also a built-in charcoal grill outside of you prefer to cook while swimming. On your way down to the lake you can stop by the storage shed to pick up dock chairs, lifejackets and fishing poles. Near the dock you'll have access to 4 Kayaks to explore the lake. The concrete dock is 64 ft wide with a swimming ladder and slip to pull up a water craft. Since the water is only 3 ft. at the base of the dock, you'll have no problem swimming (and walking) over to the sandy beach across the lake. The island is a great place to let the kids play while you relax with beautiful views of Packsaddle Mountain.
This house literally has everything you could imagine for a relaxing family getaway.

About Dustin Hunt
We are a family of 4 that lives in the Lake Travis area of Austin. We are originally from Dallas and Oklahoma. We spent several years in Tampa, Fl before settling down to start a family in Austin in 2012.
Dustin Hunt purchased this House in 2016
Why Dustin Hunt chose Kingsland
We looked at multiple properties over the course of a year and couldn't find anything even close to having what we were looking for. This one has it ALL. It's exactly what we wanted and only an hour away from Austin. The kids love the pool and playing on the private island. This truly is a one-of-a-kind property.
What makes this House unique
Most lake rentals aren't fully renovated and outfitted with modern conveniences. This home is the exception. It is fully furnished with top-of-the line appliances and furnishings. It has been professionally decorated and is beautiful. We wish we could move the kitchen to our home in Austin. It's amazing.

Great quiet location, with plenty of room for 8 adults, 1 child, 1 dog
This property is set up great, with 4 bedrooms and open living room/kitchen/bar space for my entire family. The pool in the back is a great bonus, and access to the serene LBJ lake with provided kayaks definitely a great day activity. I did have some issues with a few things in the house. First the fancy coffee machine was turned off and not available for our use. We even brought our imported coffee beans as the house instructions asked for, but when we got there we only had coffee pot access. Also the gas grill was not available because of "fire hazard". This should have been made clear prior to booking since the photos showed this appliance. The backyard charcoal grill was disgusting and we had to grill our burgers on the stovetop instead. Next, the oven bulb was out so we had to constantly open and close the oven while cooking to check on the food, allowing all the heat to escape. I contacted the property manager to let her know, but there was no resolution. Lastly, be careful of the gigantic spiders! We had to eliminate and ward off a few quarter plus size black spiders in the house, which was pretty scary. Definitely need some pest control.
Thanks so much for the feedback. We're so glad you enjoyed the property. I wanted to respond to a few of the issues you had. 1) The coffee maker we provide is nice. It works great...Just like the built in one that is in the kitchen. The built in one requires constant maintenance, It has to be descaled every week and required whole bean coffee. We provide the other one to actually make things more convenient for our guests, not hinder their experience. Your fancy coffee would have tasted great in either machine. We even provide a grinder if you bring whole bean coffee although we provide you with ground coffee. 2) The gas grill works. You just need to manually light it which is a safety concern if you leave the gas on for too long prior to igniting. You could have used it if you wanted to. 3) There are grill utensils provided as well as a trashcan by the charcoal grill if you need to remove the any ash. This shouldn't have prevented you from using it. Sorry about that. 4) We were out there 2 weeks ago and sprayed the home for pests. We never saw anything. We'll make sure to spray again if that's the case. Thanks so much for the feedback! We we'll certainly address these and make necessary changes to the home instructions if info pertaining to the grills/coffee machine weren't clear. Thanks again!
PERFECTION even still.
Yes, there were small inconveniences like an out of order ice machine and fancy coffee maker that were fancy amenities we looked forward to. Also, this part of Texas is known for nasty burrs that get caught in everything and hurt something fierce when you step on them.
But over all, even still, this Home was absolutely perfect for our thanksgiving get away with family. Comfortable as all get out. A kitchen that my chef, brother in law, was more than pleased with. River front view that cannot be compared. There were kayaks to get out on the water. A hammock to enjoy the sunset. A nice little bar area for beverages. Outdoor patio for relaxing. A pool that still felt inviting even though it was too cold for s dip.
It’s a bit pricey, but for the 10 of us all getting to be together and enjoy our holiday, it was worth every dime.
The house was amazing! We had a very nice stay, house conditions were perfect! Beautiful home, definitely would come back to this house! Dustin was great getting back to me as soon as he could and was extremely helpful.
Great place for the family!!! We had so much fun with the kayaks!!! We had 6 adults and 2 babies on our trip and there was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. I would suggest this home to anyone!!!
Perfect, peaceful summer getaway!
We enjoyed everything about our stay here! We stayed with another family and have 6 small children between the two of us. We all slept comfortably and had plenty of room. We spent most of our time in the pool which was amazing. It rained a ton the first night we were there so we couldn't enjoy the river as much right off of the property (mainly due to the age of our kiddos) but did get to fish a bit. The area where the house is is very quiet and peaceful with a gorgeous view. It was the perfect spot for our two families to enjoy the outdoors, wear out the kids, cook some good meals, laugh and share great conversation, and create some sweet memories together! Thank you Dustin for sharing this amazing place with us!
Great place for Kids and Grownups
We had a wonderful time at this location. The pool was in use 95% of waking hours. Both kids and grownups enjoyed it. We used the kayaks also.
The house was laid out very nicely and the beds were comfortable.
We had a couple of issues in the kitchen: we could never get the fancy coffee maker to work. But there were other regular coffee makers so we used one of those. Also the knob for the grill in the kitchen was broken.
We had a slow drain in the bathroom but owner and property manager sent someone over within a couple of hours after we got there and they got the issue fixed quickly.
Overall we had a wonderful weekend.
This home is located on the Llano arm of the lake on the very popular River Oaks Dr. Beautiful preserve hill country land sits across the lake from this home so the views are outstanding. The Llano River and Colorado River meet in Kingsland to form Lake LBJ. Kingsland is a small township (not an official city) with the largest population on the lake outside of Horseshoe Bay. It is still VERY small! It’s important to remember that this is a lake community. It is extremely casual and there are few master-planned, highly regulated housing areas. This means you will see an eclectic mix of lake homes housing both full-time residents and vacationers. Longhorn Caverns are only a few miles away as well as the amenities of Horseshoe Bay Resort. There are numerous wineries, golf courses, jet ski and boat rental places in the area. You are only 20 minutes to Marble Falls and Llano. These are the places where you'll find the majority of your larger restaurants and shops although Kingsland does have a grocery store and several dining options.
