Perfect Central Location
From the time we booked this until we left the property on April 4, 2018, the owner VR and staff were there for any need. This home is huge! Our three families, consisting of 10 people enjoyed it very much and everyone had plenty of their own space. The views from the back decks are amazing. The short 500 foot walk to the beach and even shorter to Laie Point is easy. This property is so close to all of the activities on North Shore. Be sure to visit Angels Ice Cream in the little shopping mall near the house. Shrimp trucks everywhere! We purchased an app on our phones called Shaka Oahu Tour which was really entertaining and helpful, but you had to be going clockwise around the island for it to work properly. Great place!

House worked out well for our base of operations.
Ocean front is a cliff, so no beach access. Not a place for kids to play out there. Living spaces are large and in good condition, very comfortable to hang out in. 3 bedrooms are great, fourth has no external windows, so you have to use the fan to keep it cool. Deck is great and has a great view. Home was very clean with no bugs at all. My main complaint is the condition of the bathrooms. All are dated. Two showers were not working, could not divert the water to the shower head from the tub. Property manager was very nice. All in all, very happy with the property and felt it was a good value relative to other options.
Spacious and clean retreat
Great communication from booking to check-out from owner, VR and staff. I definitely appreciate the personal connection at check-in, but would suggest some type of self check-in (key lock box). The house was spacious and I loved that each bedroom had a full sized bathroom--this was nice for families who have small children. We were out on the main floor lanai every single day and it was such a great gathering space. The location was ideal for exploring the North Shore and then coming back to Laie to relax. If the home was beach front, it'd be my yearly go-to rental! I would definitely recommend this home to family and friends!
We stayed here with a large family group including all ages from grandparents to toddlers. We found it to be a comfortable home for everyone with lots of space. The location was excellent, with breathtaking views and scenery. The Polynesian Cultural Center is only a short drive away and this was a highlight of our trip. The house is also very close to a plaza with a grocery store, pharmacy and restaurants. The owner VR and custodian Dali were both very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful vacation and were very happy with our choice of this vacation home.
Spectacular view and wonderful home
Our family went to Oahu for a holiday and we wanted to stay outside of Honolulu. This was the perfect place. We were a family of 5, but this place could easily accommodate a larger family or even two families. There are 2 floors with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (actually the main floor has 3 bathrooms) each. There is a living room downstairs and upstairs, and a deck on each floor. You really can find space to yourself and space for everyone to gather. The kitchen is on the main floor and is well equipped.
The view, oh my gosh, the view - amazing. I really can't say how wonderful it is. The house is also very close to Laie Point, which is a wonderful place to watch the Sunrise.
The location is good (if you want to be outside of Honolulu), because it is easy traveling is pretty easy to other places on the island.
VR was wonderful to work with. I highly recommend this house for your stay on Oahu.
Beautiful home, nice location and quiet
The house is beautiful and spacious and is at a beautiful location. The ocean view from the balcony is breathtaking. It is a great place for a family vacation or get-together. The house is a little old so there are a few things that may need some updating or fixing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and was very happy with the beautiful home.
Polynesian Cultural Center is walking distance from this property. Soak the Polynesian culture to its fullest, observe basket weavers in action or learn the art of making a Tapas. Enjoy a Luau while watching the sun set over the Pacific Ocean. The Laie Hawaii temple is also must see for its architecture beauty and elegance. At the end of an exciting day come home to the deck and relax to the soothing sounds of the waves or jump on the thread mill or exercise bike (provided by home owner) and call it a night.
