Bedrooms 2
Space 1,800 sq. ft.
Property type house
Minimum Stay 2 - 3 nights

About the property

2 Bedroom & Sleeping Loft, 2 Bath In A Wooded Setting; Sound And Mountain View!

This cute cottage has two beautiful bedrooms and a loft with a great murphy bed. The vaulted ceilings, big beams and large windows to the sound make it feel larger than it's 1800 square feet. A wood burning stove is cozy on chilly nights and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook a meal if you don't want to go to town! There is a wonderful western view through the trees to Skagit Bay, plenty of open space, and a large patio with a dining set for your pleasure! This is a healing place, quiet and surrounded by majestic evergreens.

About Jan Radosevich

I recently returned to Skagit Valley after visiting this cabin for many years. My parents built it for their escape away from Sedro Woolley. The house was built with beams milled from trees on the property! When it became mine in 2009, I started coming frequently from Bellevue, where I worked as a real estate broker.

I decided to remodel since it had fallen into disrepair after being rented for a period of time. I didn't mean to, but I fell in love with La Conner and decided it was a good idea to move back to Skagit Valley and hang my broker's license in Anacortes, I started over again!

Why Jan Radosevich chose La Conner

only 1 hour and 20 minutes from downtown Bellevue or Seattle. Avoid the heavy traffic hours by coming early or dining during heavy traffic times. It's a beautiful view along the way~

What makes this house unique

La Conner is a historical coastal town with a big reputation for tulips in the Spring. Lots to enjoy here; parks, shopping, dining, hiking, biking to mention just a few! 20 minutes away another old fishing town, Anacortes, offers ferry access to the San Juan Islands and Victoria BC. Many other rural day trips can keep you busy for some time~

Great place. Attentive host. Relaxing stay.

We were not expecting such a nice house. Wifi. Two large televisions. Comfy beds and a warm wood burning stove. Its surrounded by other houses but was still somehow very private. Very nice for a group of 6. Thanks Jan, we had a great Christmas!

Hoping to make this a holiday tradition.

Jan's place was by far the BEST rental we've ever stayed at. And we've stayed at many. You walk in, take your bags to either of the 2 fabulous bedrooms and you are home. Doesn't feel like a rental at all. We were all so sad to leave. She didn't miss beat as far as amenities go. Made for a fabulous long weekend. Jan hit this one out of the park!!

Everyone had a great time during our stay here. House was clean and well stocked upon our arrival. Great "woodsy" setting, rooms were comfortable, nice outdoor table and bbq area, extremely well stocked kitchen. Highly recommended, we'll do this one again.

Anacortes is within a twenty minute drive. There's some great waterfront parks to visit, access by ferry to the San Juan Islands, and many seasonal festivities. Mt Vernon is close to the freeway (I-5) and also within 20 minute drive; that's where you will find the big box stores and outlet mall!
