Situated in a quiet Beaufort neighborhood, we are only minutes from Parris Island and historic downtown Beaufort. We are also just a short drive from Hilton Head and Hunting Island State Park. This is very spacious apartment that will comfortably accommodate four guests. The apartment is recently renovated and comes fully furnished and stocked to make your stay comfortable. You will love the beautiful live oaks and scenic walking trail!

About Brantley Wilson

I am a Beaufort native and I love this beautiful area. My wife, son and I live here in Beaufort and love being near the beach and scenic views. I work as a teacher at a local high school.

Why Brantley Wilson chose Beaufort

I grew up in a home in the same neighborhood as this apartment. I love the area. It is great place to take an evening walk, close to downtown for water festival or just to enjoy a cup of coffee overlooking the waterfront. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.

What makes this apartment unique

My favorite thing about this home is the spanish moss walking trail that runs through our neighborhood. We love taking walks through views of the salt marshes.

Very unhappy with the cleanliness and condition of the home

It was tolerable, but there were considering downfalls to this property. We entered into an unclean space, the floor was dirty and dust was floating around, the coach cover was stained and clearly has not been cleaned in quite some time, the beds lacked mattress covers, the extra sheets were thrown into the closet and we found some on the dirty floor of the closet, the tub looked very gross, the "2nd" bedroom bed was also stained and the room needed to be dusted and swept, miscellaneous Cheerios were found around the house, and the griddle in the kitchen is completely unusable.

As far as the condition of the property my largest concern was the front door handle was completely loose, the air conditioner is about to come crashing in through the window, the tub faucet moves considerably, the caulking in the bathroom badly needs to be redone, the twin bed in the 1st bedroom is very rickety, the kitchen is also quite scary and we did not even attempt to use the stove or any appliance there.

You are charged for services never rendered, the additional cost of cleaning and servicing adds up to an extra night, in my opinion a hotel is much cleaner and much more comfortable in general.

Owner's Response: I regret to hear that you had a poor experience, as this is not the norm for our guests. Upon arrival, all our guests receive a welcome packet with our contact information and an invitation to contact me about any issues or needs during their stay. I was not contacted about any of the issues you have referenced in your review during your stay. Since this stay was a same day changeover between guests, I was unable to personally inspect the apartment prior to your arrival to personally assess the state of cleanliness. I have adjusted our booking settings to ensure a one day block between stays to ensure an opportunity for inspection in the future. I have utilized the same cleaning person for some time and generally get positive comments. The guests who stayed after you did inform me about the issue with the door handle and I was able to rectify it for them promptly. We always appreciate guest feedback. I have addressed some of your specific cleanliness concerns to our cleaner and I will take other comments into consideration as we look to improve the space for future guests. All guests should weigh the comparative costs and benefits of were they choose to stay as they enjoy Beaufort. Our apartment is an affordable option for small to mid size families who value cost savings. We feel that we honestly represent the space through descriptions and photos. Our apartment is in an older home and has some flaws, such as stains and older appliances and fixtures, however, we do make an effort to ensure cleanliness and sanitation. While appliances may not not be the most contemporary models, they do work and have been enjoyed by several previous guests who commented in earlier reviews. Certainly there are newer and more updated spaces available in local hotels and other vacation rentals in the area, which generally come at an increased expense. I do want to address two statements in the review that I believe could be misleading. First, our cleaning fee is $30 per stay, which is less than one third of what we charge for one night of lodging. There is a service fee charged by the listing service, but this fee is for their listing services and is paid to them directly. Second, the apartment is advertised as one bedroom. We do provide additional bedding in other rooms, but they are not represented as bedrooms. We encourage prospective guests to read previous guest reviews, as well as the details of our property description to ensure our space is a great fit before booking.

Very comfortable & affordable!

We stayed here for my nephews graduation from Marine Corps boot camp. This place was an excellent value for the money! It is close to everything and made attending the graduation activities a breeze. The property is opposite the flow of morning traffic for graduation activities on the island, we were thrilled to not have to wait in line on the highway! We contacted the owner for a slight problem (toilet wouldn't flush) and Brantley responded within 15 minutes. I highly recommend this home!

No wifi, my kids weren't happy but we were! They actually HAD to play board games & cards as a family!

We loved that we had our own entrance and driveway. The property was great and clean!

Perfect for all of my family members. There was 8 of us :) they had movies and games for us to enjoy when we were there. Everything was absolutely clean when we arrived. Thank you for making our SC experience very easy!
