About Sue Mills
John hand-built this comfortable cabin over 20 years time by laying each stone and log with care. You appreciate his devotion to his craft from the moment you walk through the door.
Sue Mills purchased this Cabin in 1980
Why Sue Mills chose Glen Haven
Glen Haven is a special place. The folks around here keep a slower pace in order to savor the delights of abundant wildlife, both fauna and flora.
What makes this Cabin unique
It's so quiet here. You will enjoy the sounds of the babbling brook just outside through the open window, or from the deck that runs along three sides of the cabin.

What a memorable visit!🗻
We had never rented a home before, and did not know what to expect. It turned out to be an amazing experience! The location was spectacular. The house was comfortable and homey. The outcome exceeded our expectations. Thank you!
Nice location, acceptable accomodations.
Outside of cabin could use some updates but inside very comfortable. Only real complaint is that we arrived early September when they just turned on heating system and the fan squeaked very loudly and contacted Sue to make sure they knew the condition of the fan and her only comment was that was normal and to shut off heating at night so that we could sleep. We turned up the heat during the early evening but the squeaking was quite annoying when trying to enjoy the quiet surroundings. Very nice location with easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park area.
There are no squeaks at all anymore. The furnace did squeak when it was turned on so early in the season (still summer) before John could check it out thoroughly. That has been 100% taken care of now.
Very nice and clean
We had a great stay, everything was perfect. Thank you. The location is excellent and the scenery is beautiful.
Truly a home away from home!
We booked the cabin for our week long stay in the Rockies over the 4th of July. We are a family of 4. Our kiddos loved having a room for themselves and playing and exploring down by the creek. The location was great for being close to Estes Park and the RMNP but far enough away from the crazy busy to make feel cozy and relaxing. The cabin was fully stocked which impressed me! I have rented several cabins in MN for fishing trips that never had all of what you needed or just the bare minimum. But this cabin gas everything you would need in a house without having to bring it!!! We would definitely book this home again for future stays!
Beautiful setting and loved the house
What a lovely setting. We enjoyed our stay immensely! Nothing like a great getaway in the mountains. Would definitely stay again.
Glenn Haven Property 427677
The house was very comfortable and charming and was built in a pine forest with a murmuring brook running on the lower side of the property.
The kitchen utensils were well stocked and we could find everything we wanted.
The hostess was friendly and attentive to details.
Located 30 minutes west of Loveland, CO, cozy Glen Haven is only 15 minutes to all the attractions in Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabin is just over the hill from the Glen Haven General Store and the historic Inn of Glen Haven.
