This newly renovated apartment is situated in Almunecar, 45 minutes east of Malaga on the Costa Tropical. Featuring 2 bedrooms on the 6th floor of a gated community located at the top of town, the exceptional views and proximity to the town center and the beaches, allow the traveler the best accommodations in town.

A brand new kitchen with all new appliances, including an induction stove top, oven, coffee machine, microwave and toaster allow the vacationer to prepare his own meals, if desired. Located within the complex is a renowned restaurant, 'El Arbol Blanco'. This exceptional restaurant provides haute cuisine at affordable prices. It is rated as the number one restaurant in the region. Additionally, there is a casual restaurant located nearby that serves pizzas and sandwiches for simpler fare.All new premium beds allow for comfortable nights. These beds measure 200cm in length, and not the standard 190cm. Another important feature is the new, split, Air Conditioning unit providing cooling throughout the unit.

There are two large pools provided to the renters, one immediately in front of the unit, and one a short walk to the north.

The large balcony on the front of the unit provides an impressive view of the town and the Mediterranean Sea.

Drink your morning coffee basking in the warm sun looking at the sea and your coffee never tasted better!

Why George Vokaty chose Costa Tropical and Granada Province

Carmen's family has lived in Almunecar for many years. We love the area because it has exceptional year around weather and this town has a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The apartment, located on the 6th floor has an exceptional view not only of the town, but also the Mediterranean Sea. Staying at the apartment is VERY relaxing. There is plenty of open space, the pools are a great asset in the hot summers, and parking is always available, both in the complex and on the streets nearby. If you have visited the towns and cities in Spain, you will have noted how difficult parking is in the city centers! Although the area where the apartment is located is quiet, a short walk to the beach area, and you will find numerous bars, dance clubs and restaurants where the night life continues until dawn.

What makes this apartment unique

We recently went about modernizing the apartment. The kitchen was completely gutted and renovated in a modern style. At the same time the electrical wiring was replaced and brought up to code. The kitchen boasts all new appliances, including fridge, induction cook-top, oven, microwave, coffee machine and toaster. The old on-demand butane hot water system was replaced with an electrical 100 liter tank. A new split A/C unit was installed and cools the entire apartment quickly and quietly. Their is still a traditional look to the apartment with stained wood door-ways and doors, natural wood dressers and wall units, and tiles throughout the floors. The front balcony overlooks the town of Almunecar as well as the Med. Sea a short distance away.

Super lejlighed med god beliggenhed.

Vi har nydt 4 uger i denne skønne lejlighed med fuldt udstyret køkken med alt, hvad vi skulle bruge. Gode senge og dyner. Hyggelig stue og fin lukket parkeringsplads. Fra den sydvendte altan smuk udsigt over byen og grøn avokadomark. Om aftenen lys hele vejen rundt. Gåtur til den hyggelige Almunecar by ca. 10 minutter. Køretur til de nærliggende byer - især Frigiliana er et besøg værd.Alt har fungeret perfekt. Tusind tak for et dejligt ophold. Aase Knudsen og Willy Laursen, Danmark.

Excellent return visit

This was our second visit to George and Carmen's lovely apartment. If you want a good quality apartment, with fabulous views and sun all day on the balcony, you can't go wrong here. Great location, excellent views ! Apartment was exactly as advertised - clean and in great condition so no surprises, no complaints. Less than 5 minute drive / 15 minute walk to supermercado and beach. Good access to highway to get to Malaga and Granada. Would definitely come back again !

Wonderful vacation apartment

This was our 2nd trip to Almunecar and this apartment.Stayed 3 weeks and enjoyed every day of it. The apartment is equipped with all you need, with top of the line kitchen appliances,cooking utensils and dishes,etc. The beds are very comfortable. It is great having the washing machine so can pack light! The view from the front balcony is wonderful. We spent a lot of time there each morning and evening. The location is good, the main grocery store is a 15 minute walk away, as well as the center of town and gorgeous beaches and sea wall. There is also a litte shop across the street for groceries and snacks as well. The caretaker Joanna is just across the street as well, and very helpful and kind. There is a lot to do in Almunecar and neighbouring cities. We used the local and regional bus services to go to Salobrena, La Herradura, Granada and Nerja. The caves at Nerja are worth seeing. If you love to walk, Almunecar is the place to do it! The sea wall goes forever to the east. We found a wonderful little beach in the Veilla area, which has sunbeds with 4 inch pads and 2 restaurants. It is a 70 minute walk, or you can take the #3 bus. It is fun to explore the old town and castle. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops. Very cheap to eat and drink here. The seafood and produce is fresh and delicious at the daily market and Mercadano grocery store if you choose to cook in. All in all, we had the best vacation ever, and highly recommend this apartment!!! Will definitely be back for a 3rd visit at some time in the future.

Complètement rénové,cuisine moderne,salle de bain neuve.

Tout se fait à pied,mer à 15 20 minutes à pied,épicerie (Mercadona,Lidl,Mas) à 20 minute à pied située près du terminus d'autobus.Il y a aussi un petit dépaneur en face de l'appartement.

Très ensoillee,bellle vue du balcon sur la mer et les montagnes

Le Wifi fonctionne très bien.

Johana qui nous a accueillie est super gentille et disponible.

The apartment is absolutely stunning,very fresh and really nice.We spenat two weeks there in January and Februari 2015 and liket it very much.The kitschen is very well equipped,wichwe appreciated.The balcony is a wonderful "extra room" with sun all dag and stunning view.The master bedroom has beautiful and comfortable wide beds. Almunecar has a well stocken food hall with fine ingrediens where we did most of our food shopping for home cooking. We alsolsprit visiter the neighborhood restaurant"El ArborBlanco" wich we mat very well rekommenderar.We can strongly rekommendthis apartment and we hope to come back to this apartment some other time.

This property is situated in Almunecar on the Costa Tropical. Boasting a warm climate throughout the year, it is a vacation destination even for Spaniards living in the north of Spain. A breath-taking view of the Mediterranean Sea from one of the two balconies in this beautiful two bedroom apartment lends itself to relaxing breakfasts and intimate afternoon cocktails.Located in a gated community this property has two beautiful swimming pools and the #1 rated restaurant in the region, 'El Arbol Blanco'

The town is a five minute walk and provides vacationers with all amenities as well as plenty of opportunities to enjoy the sites and history of this ancient coastal town.

Located nearby, Venta Lucianna is a unique experience well worth a visit. This renown restaurant provides guests with an exterior dining experience. Huge wood barbeques are provided to the guests, who then cook their own sausages on long metal skewers! In addition, the chefs supply pork, veal, beef and lamb cooked to perfection. After dining, the guests move to an indoor theater, where an original Flamenco performance is presented.

Within one hours' drive is the city of Granada with the Alhambra, the number one tourist destination in Spain. A must see, this 14th century palace and fortress has been well maintained and a walking tour with guide is essential to appreciate the architecture and history. The city itself dates back to the 8th Century B.C. and has numerous walking promendes with impressive fountains. This city is also renown for its Tapas Bars and Cafes. This region is definitely worth 2 or three day trips to be able to see it all.

Other must see destinations are The Caves of Nerja, as well as the town itself. The mountain top town of Frigiliana is also recomended. Walking through the old section of town, the views are again spectacular.

If you are staying for a longer period, trips to the cities of Seville and Cordoba also offer the visitor the opportunity to view historically significant monasteries, churches and palaces.

Further afield, you could also visit Gibraltar and cross on a ferry to Tangiers in Morocco.

My wife and I did a tour there and came back with 2 wonderful Persian carpets. Caution, remember that when negotiating for the final price, it is a time honored tradition to haggle. Remember to stay with your tour guide as the city is extremely confusing, and your guide will probably bring you to several merchants to sell you a variety of products. The peddlers are EXTREMELY persistent, one of whom followed us for 20 minutes to get us to buy a ceramic bowl!

Almunecar is exceptionally located with the Mediterranean to the south and the Sierra Nevadas to the north and offers a very pleasant vacation for families, couples and retirees.
