This home is completely furnished with all features and amenities to suit your needs and those of your family. Your home has 3 bedrooms with top of the line mattresses and linens designed to ensure a quality sleep, 2 full bathrooms, dining area seating for 8, living room with large deck overlooking the city lights of downtown Vancouver, a 40 inch flat screen HD TV, play station 3, Bose wave music system with docking station, security system.
The kitchen is well appointed with numerous small appliances, cutlery, linen, dishes, wine glasses and other items to enhance your stay. It really lacks nothing. All appliances are full size Samsung, ice maker in the refrigerator, full size washing machine and dryer, dishwasher. The kitchen/ dining room allows for convenient outside dining , cocktails, and relaxation as there is a large outside deck off the living room.
Hardwood floors throughout the house provide a healthy dust free environment.
Our gardens are exceptional, large flower beds and Magnolia trees, slate walkways completely fenced yard.
Our expansive master bedroom features a queen size bed, complete with ensuite bathroom with walk in shower. The house comfortably sleeps 6 with 2 queen size beds, and 2 twin size beds. All bedding is of exceptional quality thus ensuring a good nights sleep.
Bedrooms are very quiet and cool; your master bedroom has portable air conditioner plus air cool fans.
The average temperature in Vancouver for the months of July and August is 22 degrees Centrigrade or 72 degrees Fahrenheit.
Being near the ocean allows us to have Pacific breezes and moderate temperatures thus air conditioning is rarely required.
This home is 10/15 minutes from the downtown core, University of British Columbia, numerous Beaches, the Vancouver airport, 5 golf courses, award winning restaurants, shopping, hiking trails and the fabulous Stanley Park.
Local activities include golf, swimming, tennis, shopping, hiking,fishing, tennis, beaches, biking and live theatre.

This property exceeded our expectations. We already knew it was a nice place from the pictures. The layout of the property worked well for the 2 families. The location of the property was in a wonderful and safe area. Close to lots of restaurants and bakery cafes. Close to the beach! The property was very clean and very well maintained. Kelly and Brian were awesome hosts. All the neighbours were very friendly and helpful with answering questions about how to dispose of the garbage and composites. We would totally rent this property again IF it's available because as you can see it is a hot commodity. All in all one of the best rentals we have rented so far on VRBO for sure. Thank you Kelly and Brian for a beautiful rental. Hope to rent from you in the future

Nicely appointed house in a good location. Very well furnished and equipped - clean and cozy. Great layout, nice deck with views of the city and mountains in the background as well as a private outdoor space for a BBQ or just to sit off and read. We usually stay in the city but my in-laws tagged along on this trip so wee needed a bit more room and my wife wanted a place where she could prepare some home cooked meals for our son at UBC. The location was ideal for us and offered all the amenities we were looking for.

THIS HOME *REALLY* DELIVERS!
This Lane/Alley home was fantastic. The space is so well designed that you feel every comfort, as if it's your own home. Three full bedrooms and two good sized bathrooms make being in the home as comfortable as ever. Brian and Kelly really thought of everything when designing this home, and it's also very tastefully decorated. The location is also fantastic; close the UBC and easy access to the nearby beaches, shopping and downtown. And as long as there isn't too much of a cloud cover, you wake up to one of the best views in the city. The street is also quiet, so you won't be awoken by noise. IF you're lucky enough to pick dates that Brian and Kelly's place is available, book it immediately because someone else will get it before you!

A family with young children, we spent five months at the Dunbar when my wife had a sabbatical as a visiting scholar at UBC. Great house, great neighbourhood, great place to live in. After a long travel from overseas with the kids and 9hr jetlag it was great to come “home” to a full fridge and beds ready to get into. Great service from Kelly and Brian, all the way along, no matter what. The house is fully furnished so we did not have to think about anything when we arrived with only clothes in our suitcases. The patio outside of the house is quiet, perfectly maintained and child safe, even for our 2-year old who like to run and climb everywhere. Easy and quiet stroll in the neighbourhood, just around the house or to the great trees of Pacific Spirit park or down to Jericho beach to enjoy the view over English Bay and the mountains on the other side. No car needed: for 5 months and with a family, we did not miss our own car. We mainly used buses, Translink is doing a great job with the buses and the house is well connected to the bus network, and one of the car sharing program when a car was needed.

Getting around town is a breeze in this perfectly located condo. We walked to restaurants, multiple shops and down to the sea wall. It's easy to catch the aqua bus from the park down at the water and that will take you over to Granville Island. The neighborhood is quiet and the condo is well appointed. The building is secure and parking is in the garage below. You can leave the windows open for the fresh night air or use one of the fans provided. Over all this is a great spot to start your adventures in Vancouver.
Great first experience!
My stay at the Dunbar was the first time that I have used VRBO and I was a bit nervous. However, Brian and Kelly were able to promptly answer any of my questions, either by phone or email. They were very friendly and easy to work with. The location was very easy to find and is just a short drive to the beach or downtown. I was very happy that the pictures that are shared on VRBO are EXACTLY what the property looks like. The neighbourhood is quiet, we had all the comforts of home and the property is beautifully landscaped. I would highly recommend the Dunbar to anyone that is looking for a place to stay close to Downtown or in the University area.
