Hike up the mountain from the 4 O'Clock Trail/ski run, just 1/2 block away in the summer, ski down from the top of Peak 8 (highest chairlift in North America - 3 1/2 mile run in the winter). Park Place A building is the red and cream colored building visible in the Blue River Plaza picture.

Best location in town: this top floor, corner unit with vaulted ceiling and extra windows faces south with great views of the town and Mt. Baldy. Just one block from Main Street restaurants and shops. Snowflake ski lift is only 800 away; ski home on the 4 o'clock ski run. No need for a car. The complex features two hot tubs and an outdoor gas fireplace. Enjoy a full service kitchen, formal dining room (fun for playing games and cards) and breakfast bar seating. There is a King-sized bed in one Master Suite and a Queen-sized bed and a Captain bunk bed (full-sized bed and twin) in the other Master Suite.The Park Place condominium complex is located at the corner of Park Avenue and 4 O'Clock Road, within walking distance (800 ft) of the Snowflake double chairlift and 1 block from downtown Breckenridge.

Close to Downtown Breck with Pool

This property was a walking distance from downtown Breckenridge. The unit was on the third floor and had a great view, though the stairs were a bit tough to manage with our luggage (and the lack of oxygen). In my opinion, having a view is worth the hassle! The layout was perfect for our family of four, though it could have easily fit more. We liked the access to the hot-tub and pool (which was closed for seasonal maintenance.) The decor was a little outdated, but the kitchen was updated with all the amenities you'd need for a normal stay.

Location was great. Kitchen was beautiful. Bathrooms were a little outdated and had some mold. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely stay at Park Place again in the future.

Park Place C301 is a spacious 2 bedrooms and 2 baths tastefully updated condo. This unit comfortably sleeps 4-7 guests. Enjoy a full service kitchen, formal dining room (fun for playing games and cards) and breakfast bar seating. There is a King-sized bed in Master Suite and a queen-sized bed and full-sized and twin beds in the second bedroom. The condo is fully stocked with necessary cooking and dining utensils and linens, as well as family/children's videos, books, CD's, board games and puzzles for your enjoyment.

The complex features two hot tubs and an outdoor gas fireplace. Best location in town: this top floor, corner unit with vaulted ceiling and extra windows faces south with great views of the town and Mt. Baldy. Just one block from Main Street restaurants and shops. The Park Place condominium complex is located at the corner of Park Avenue and 4 O'Clock Road.

Summer Highlights:

Walk 2 blocks up the street to two trails that go alongside Sawmill Creek. From there it is a 3/4 mile hike to 4 O'Clock Reservoir. For the more adventurous, you can walk 1/2 block to the 4 O'Clock Trail and then hike to the top of 12,998 foot Peak 8 . Mountain bike up the 4 O'Clock Trail or ride a "comfort" bike on the 9 mile paved path alongside the Blue River. Enjoy the Upper Village heated outdoor pool and hot tub complex. Walk 1 block to downtown Breckenridge's many restaurants and shops. Enjoy the 4th of July parade, river rafting on the mellow Blue River, the Breckenridge Pro Rodeo, and the National Repertory Orchestra concerts. You can also enjoy Breckenridge's Fun Park on Peak 8, featuring an alpine slide, two person roller coaster, miniature golf, climbing wall, fun maze and pony rides for kids. Horse and pony rides are also available at the Breckenridge Stables on Peak 9.

Winter Highlights:

Walk up the street (1000 feet, or 50 feet to the free shuttle bus that runs every 20 minutes) to get to the Snowflake Chairlift. You can make your way to the highest chairlift in North America, the Imperial Chair, and ski down 3 1/2 miles back to this condo for lunch, or at the end of the day to soak those tired legs in the hot tubs in the complex. You can also enjoy the Upper Village heated outdoor pool and hot tub complex. In the last week of January you can see Breckenridge's annual International Ice Sculpture Contest, and all winter, the new Lighted Ice Castle; both are just across the street from Park Place.
