Home is on the east side of the lake --the best location that offers south-westerly views and sunshine throughout the day AND You'll be able to enjoy the setting sun every night. ThE neighborhood is quiet and safe.
With the vast greenbelt behind you and light reflecting off the lake in front of the home, the view is ever changing from siliver & blues to brilliant yellows and oranges. Eagles, owls, deer, racoons and rabbits are frequently seen around the home. Few rental homes feature these many upgrades in construction and luxurious furnishings.
First, Lisa was a great host - vanishingly unobtrusive unless we needed her, but incredibly responsive and friendly as soon as we reached out. Her house is fantastic, beautifully furnished and equipped. You can move into this house with nothing but the clothes in your suitcase, and immediately feel at home. Lisa and her husband lived here for years, they have renovated it extensively and with great taste. The location was great for us - I was working in northern Redmond for a week while my family did tourist things all over the Seattle area. The views, overlooking Lake Sammamish, are wonderful, and we happened to be there over the fourth of July to get an incredible private fireworks show from the master bedroom window. The house was spotless, too. I can't think of a single thing to complain about. Thanks for a great stay, Lisa, and we hope to rent from you again the next time we come up to Redmond!
The online photos are gorgeous but the actual experience of staying in this home was incredible. It is such a quiet neighborhood with bunnies hopping all around, we even saw a deer. Every room had a beautiful view, even the walk-in closet in the master bedroom! All of the beds were very comfortable. Our 3 children thought they had hit the jackpot! The playroom was well stocked with toys and a great space for building forts. The tv didn't work but that was a blessing! The kitchen was definitley a chefs dream kitchen, I only wish it had more variety of cooking pans and pots and perhaps a little better organized for finding things. I also would have liked a highchair or booster that we thought would be provided but those were details we were able to overlook just by the beauty we were surrounded by. I loved that she had kids dishes and cups too! Everything you would need was close by...grocery and drug stores, parks and getting into Seattle was easy. I would definitely recommend this home for a family vacation. The only reason for the 4 stars were because of the few things mentioned above and the fact that we were not able to check in on time. It would have been nice to be compensated for that a little bit and communication could have been a little better from start to finish. But those are all things that can be improved upon over time and on no way takes away from the absolute pleasure and beauty of this home. It is very clear the love and hard work that has gone into this home. I hope the next family enjoys it as much as we did and we would love to rent from Lisa again. Cheers!
When renting this house the pictures were beautiful as our family hoped out selection was correct while visiting Seattle. What we discovered when we arrived was that we had hit the jackpot! This house was everything we imagined and more! The view of the lake was breathtaking in the morning as it added excitement to our family. The house was very well maintained with an abundance of space so that our family could spread out and enjoy watching TV or just take time to sit on the deck and view the lake. The kitchen was to die for as it was equipped with a Viking gas range allowing for several things to be cooked at one time with double ovens and a large kitchen area to entertain. The master bedroom was outstanding and the master bath was huge!!! The highlight was not only the view if the lake when waking up but the shower (large with multiple shower heads) and bath tub was extraordinary. Sleeping accommodations were outstanding as it comfortably accommodated our family of 8. The yard area was well maintained. Property location was great as you were not to far from the city, airport, and other places like dining, malls and grocery stores. The area of Samammish is so beautiful to us it is one of the best areas to stay. To conclude our comments we can not leave out the owner of the property as she was excellent insuring every question was answered and she added her personal touch in proving us with guidance to make a major difference in our stay. When you talk about customer service this was the best. Our family has already indicated we must go back and they do not want to stay anywhere else. I would recommend this property hands-down and if you are looking for a place to stay in style, luxury, the outdoors, and location "this is the place"! An the price is worth it! All financial transactions were handled in a professional manner eliminating any anxiety we had in dealing with payments and refunding of deposits. The owner runs a very classy rental program and with so many horror stories of fraud this is one operation you will not have to worry about. We are hooked and will be back!
We stayed at this beautiful house near Samammish Lake, and right from the moment we arrived we were taken in by its exceptional charm and serenity. This home is beautifully appointed, with every convenience you can imagine - from an outdoor barbecue to a library of movies! After staying in this lovely, and clearly much-loved, home, we have decided to stay in hotels only as a last resort! Thank you Lisa for making our vacation memorable, and thank you VRBO for making it easy!
We had the most relaxing week in this spacious home and really hated to leave. The view was absolutely spectacular and we so enjoyed our evenings on the sun deck watching the sun set on Lake Sammamish. The wildlife was a unexpected delight: we watched bald eagles soar above and deer come into the yard. The house was very clean and well-equipped with a gourmet kitchen and amenities that you don't get with a hotel suite. The kids spent hours at the community swim dock and came back exhausted. Wonderful time had by all...
My wife and myself spent a couple of weeks in this lovely home at lake Sammamish. We are frequent users of VRBO. This property is by far the best we have rented. The place was extremely clean and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities and a spectacular view of the lake. Every day we organized a visit to several interesting places including Redmond, Bellevieu and Seattle that is only a few minutes away from the home. Lisa the owner was very nice and we thank her her help and suggestions to enjoy the area. We will rent the property again.
