About Aaron

We are a family of five that have lived in the canyon since 1973.We love to share the unique environment with visitors.

Aaron purchased this cabin in 2011

Why Aaron chose Central Coast

This property is close to both Big Sur and Carmel it is truly best of both worlds. Many of the VRBO'S in Big Sur are off dirt roads a bonus of this cabin is it is on a paved road. The cabin is far enough off the road not to see any cars.

The cabin was secluded but had all the amenities.

  • 5 of 5

We loved the secluded nature of the cabin and it's location just off of Hwy. 1 and the ocean. The stovetop and fridge were adequate. The trails behind the cabin were unique and fun to explore. It would be hard to find another location with the same ambience. I think there should be a warning included about what poison oak looks like. I've dealth with poison ivy before, but not poison oak. The futon was ok to sit on, but slightly uncomfortable to sleep on. Overall, the experience was awesome!

WONDERFUL!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this place! The outdoor shower and bathtub are amazing. It's really nice and cute. The kitchen is fully functional. And there are beautiful redwood trees right in the backyard! Would definitely stay here again.

It's a bit secluded, but we enjoyed disconnecting. Everything it says it is.

Perfect romantic getaway for 2

  • 5 of 5

It was my boyfriend and I one year anniversary and this remote cabin was perfect. The community that surrounds is amazing. Has a great vibe to it all. The little trail to get to the cabin isn't bad at all. It took us about 3 trips to get everything to the cabin, but that made us love the place even more. The shower and tub were amazing. Such an awesome experience to have that outside. The shower was a little over grown but still managed just fine. With no tv and very little service, this was exactly what we wanted for the weekend. Spent time talking and laughing and listening to music. The beach is only 2 miles from the cabin and we spent most of the days there. We had such an amazing relaxing weekend away, we didn't want to leave. Would definitely return and recommend to friends!! Thank you for the experience!

Beautiful nature, limited amenities

  • 3 of 5

Really nice little cabin and beautiful scenery. Recommend if you are wanting to rough it a bit. We had to clean the tub ourselves, for instance, and bring a lot of our own basics - dishsoap, trashbags, ect. There's also no working internet on the premise (at least as of now). But if you are just into a beautiful, cozy cabin and want to be off the grid, this is the spot.
