This private apartment on a quiet street is just a block from the heart of Dupont and an easy walk to Georgetown and Foggy Bottom (perfect 100 walk score!). My family (wife, daughter, and son) and I live right upstairs and we love urban living and wouldn't live anywhere else!
The apartment has everything you need and we want you to have the best visit to DC possible. You can't beat the location and comfort. With two bedrooms and a comfortable couch you can easily fit 5 people.
This is a newly renovated two bedroom apartment. It has everything you would need included (linens, towels, TV with movie channels, snacks, utensils and cookware, private laundry etc.) It has a large kitchen area with a gas stove and dishwasher.
The bedrooms are on either end of the unit which provides great privacy. Each bedroom has a queen bed, and in the living room there is a comfortable couch for a 5th person. For a small additional charge I can even provide an air mattress for a 6th person.
It is ground level and has full size windows in most rooms (back bedroom window is a bit smaller).
On site parking is possible if you don't plan on coming in and out with your car daily (we have a second spot, but its tandem, so one car has to be moved to get the other one in and out). If you intend to just leave your car during your stay, parking a day (cash on arrival) and we can just coordinate your arrival and departure and make sure you are not parked in.
There is a key-less entry system. Before you come I will provide you with a code. Just punch in the code and turn the lock.
When you leave, remember to lock the door behind you (just push the top button and turn the lock).
The location couldn't be any more central to DC and everything the city has to offer. Perfect walk score of 100!
Dupont is the true heart of DC. We are walking distance to amazing restaurants, and the neighborhoods of Georgetown, Adams Morgan, Foggy Bottom, and others. We are about a mile from the Whitehouse, and 2 blocks from the red line metro (the ideal line to be on) and about a 10 minute walk from blue/orange lines
In DuPont Circle (Park) itself you can play a game of afternoon chess, participate in group yoga or listen to the strum and hum of the various local musicians who make "the Circle" a meeting point. The neighborhood is filled with wonderful restaurants, shops, cafe's and grassy parks; plus the DuPont Circle Farmers Market is one of the largest in the city.
From Washingtonian Magazine:
"DuPont Circle sits in the heart of DC, where Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Connecticut avenues come together in Northwest DC. The neighborhood surrounding the circle has many charms—the beautiful rowhouses on P and Q streets to the east, the lively bars on Connecticut Avenue to the south, and the impressive embassies to the north along Massachusetts Avenue. Inside the famed circle itself, old men who have occupied the same chess tables for decades join musicians, tourists, and neighborhood residents walking their dogs, eating picnic lunches, or relaxing under the leafy trees."
