house is nice and in a good location

  • 4 of 5

Overall the house and the location are very good. There is a definite need for air conditioning. When I arrived it was 105 degrees with not even a breeze. A/C is a must. When I return I will stay in a house with a/c. If this house installs a/c, all the better.

Owner's Response: Thanks Jim, sorry about the a/c most of us do not have a/c. it is only needed for a few weeks up here so most folks opt out for the expense. Probably the newer homes do have it. When it is hot we all wish we had it that is for sure. Always nice having you as a guest, blessings, Dianne

Family reunion

  • 3 of 5

House was clean and comfortable. View out the back looks over a green belt, saw wildlife roaming by. House was equipped with games, horseshoes, ping pong table and outdoor screen enclosed fire pit. With so many personal items within the kitchen and bathrooms, we had to move and adjust to make room for our food, towels and belongings. There were no stairs off the back deck. Luckily we found some wooden 2 step in the garage. This was not secured/stable but it served well enough. Communication through Ron Martin reality was efficient and cordial. Dianne made it ease with check in to check out, very lovely person.

Owner's Response: Ken, thank you for your kind response. Blessed that the veterans had a wonderful time spent in this home and in our beautiful area, and catching many fish.

Perfect for us!

  • 5 of 5

This was just what we were looking for! Our family of seven plus our in-laws were very comfortable in this spacious, clean, cute house. It's in an extremely quiet neighborhood. During our two week stay I heard the voices of passersby only twice. The backyard opens up to spacious land - great deck for enjoying the sunset. If you're looking for rugged, outdoor fun this is the place. We visited Lake Almanor, Devil's Kitchen, Bumpass Hell, Cinder Cone Volcano, and made a drive through Lassen Volcanic Park stopping to look at things that interested us. Not a lot of shopping or dining (a few good places to eat) but we wanted it that way and the The Coffee Station is excellent. The realty company was great to work with and answered all our questions! We hope to visit again.

Great home for families

  • 4 of 5

We stay in Chester every year at Thanksgiving time to cut down Christmas Trees in the Lassen Forest. We have always rented hotel rooms for our families that attend. This year we decided to try a house. Best decision!

The home was a great size, felt homey, lots of rooms for little kids to play in one room, and big kids in another. Clean home, well maintained. Kitchen was perfect size for our Thanksgiving dinner with other family that joined us. We would love to rent this home again the following year.
