After looking at several potential properties we choose Boone's. Way larger than we needed but location is what mattered. Comfortably furnished and clean. a sidewalk for walks along the creek, a mountain pasture view out front and a woods creek out back. In the valley and flat which for us was great. The reason for only 4 stars maintenance issues took longer than they should have, but that happens sometimes it did not effect our stay to any great extent. I would recommend the property and look forward to returning.
Location was great
My family stays in Maggie Valley every summer. We're always looking for that place we can come back to. This wasn't it. I was a little disappointed to get there and realize that although the place is listed as a 3 bedroom and it sort of is, the third bedroom is a loft with a door. I didn't mind the split floor plan, I have 2 small children and when I called the rental agency to see if the offered baby gates they said no. This made for restless sleep since I was worried that my kids would get up in the middle of the night and fall down the steps. The house was pretty clean, although I don't think the floors had been mopped. My kids feet were black within an hour of us being there. I know cleaning supplies aren't provided but I figured there would have atleast been a broom since there is wood floors all downstairs and lots of dirt to be drug in. We bought one and just brought it home with us.
It's nice that it's Creekside but it's not easy to access the creek. We went to the neighbors yard to get in. It was easier to step down into from there.
The kitchen isn't fully equipped as stated. There are hardly any measuring cups, no crockpot and a few other things. Also, all the dishes were dirty. We had to wash them all before we could us them. I'd say whoever was there before was in a rush and housekeeping didn't verify the dishes were clean.
Overall the place was nice. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of space. We've stayed several places and this one wasn't a favorite.
Peaceful in a great location
Great house, quiet with feeling far away. We loved the creek and hot tub. Street has very little turn around for a trailer and dead ends on private property but management allowed us to park near their office.
