Located on Main Street in Rockland, Maine, this airy apartment is beautifully decorated with an eclectic mix of antiques and modern furnishings. The layout in the main living area is an open living plan with plenty of space to relax, visit, or plan your activities. The vibe is very peaceful and the location can’t be beat. From here you are able to walk to many of Rockland’s attractions including The Farnsworth Museum, the CMCA, The Strand Theatre, more than 20 galleries, our working harbor, eclectic shops, and many excellent restaurants and cafes.

I have a list of highlights I will share with you to make sure you don't miss a thing. And please look at the map tab for my insider guide to the area.

This beautiful apartment is located on Main Street in Rockland, Maine.

Rockland is a small town, but there is some street noise that comes with Main street living. If you are looking for a quiet cabin in Maine - skip this, but if you are looking for amazing easy access to all Rockland has to offer - this is your place.

The 2 bedrooms have AC.

Super clean!

It is a 3rd floor walk up - but easy wide stairs...worth the climb!

There is a 2-night minimum.

The building is licensed, has a building-wide fire alarm/sprinkler system, and meets all life-safety regulations.

All taxes and cleaning fees are included in the rates.

We had a great time staying here, very close to all of our favorite restaurants and galleries.

It's a clean, bright space, right in the middle of downtown. Beth is thoughtful and easy to communicate with.

Fantastic, well-designed Main Street Apt

  • 5 of 5

First off, Beth was incredibly communicative ahead of our visit and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth arrival in Rockland. Her rental apartment is exquisitely designed. Our visit was brief and all of us said that we wish we could extend the stay to enjoy the fully outfitted kitchen and apartment even more. A perfect place to relax in style. There were extra touches, like coffee fixings and great local tips that made it an extra smooth stay. Beth was also easy to get a hold of during the weekend. Staying right on Main Street is incredibly convenient, and the town is quiet, so even during a Boat Show weekend in the high season of August, we didn't have any issues with noise at night. Highly recommend!

A real gem.

  • 5 of 5

In the heart of Rockland, a real gem. Not only does it look good, from the furniture down to the dishes and plates, but it is so comfortable! We found it difficult to get out of bed in the mornings the mattresses were so good! Light, spacious and airy, all the appliances you could ask for, and seconds away from the galleries, restaurants and shops. Delightful!

Tastefully decorated and very well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this apartment. The location was ideal, with lots of Rockland's highlights and restaurants within comfortable walking distance. As can be expected with Main Street accommodation, there is some street noise but nothing that troubled us greatly. Would consider staying here again .
