Not your typical rental property! Our 1930's era house is one we hold dear -- it has been the place for family and friend gatherings for over a decade and we rarely rent it. It is a family-friendly property with 4 bedrooms; the expansive, upstairs master suite is renovated complete with hardwood floors, a private office and AC (the downstairs also has AC). The room adjacent to the master bedroom is currently an office but easily converts into a 5th bedroom.
The house boasts a renovated retro kitchen with a counter/pass thru into the dining room, which seats 8-10. Windows all around bring the outside in.
We have an ideal location so that you don't have to drag your wagon far -- one block from the ferry and the famous Little's Market/liquor store. Shopping and restaurants are a 5-minute walk away in Ocean Beach. The house comes complete with numerous bicycles, beach toys and boasts an expansive deck, side yard and outdoor shower.
Should you need to work or check e-mail, we have a private office upstairs, complete with 2 desk, wireless Internet, a printer and more.
We require a one week minimum. The house is available for May, June, 2-3 weeks in July and the latter part of August.
This is a quintessential Fire Island property.
