Why Owner chose Tahoma
Over the years, close family & friends have made the move to living in Northern California. We've been visiting the Tahoe area for over 15 years, and plan on (eventually) making a permanent home here.
What makes this Cabin unique
Little Bear Cabin is located in a secluded, quiet section of Tahoma on the corner of two cul-de-sacs, while the attractions of the Lake Tahoe area remain easily accessible.

Just the right size. Very quiet. Amazing location. Everything we needed, too.
Perfect house for a small family!
We just returned from a week’s stay in this Tahoma cabin and it was perfect for our family of 4. We travel a lot and use VRBO at least three times a year and this was one of our favorite vacations and properties. We’d never been to Tahoe and Tahoma ended up being the ideal location to be able to see and do everything. The house had everything we needed to cook meals and BBQ which we did every night. It’s also a short walk to the lake and state park as well as a little coffee shop we enjoyed. We don’t repeat vacation locales but we’re so tempted to go back to this cabin next summer!
Perfect, quiet getaway
My husband and I stayed at the cabin for our anniversary trip to Tahoe and loved how peaceful it was. We enjoyed breakfast on the back deck just listening to the wind in the pines and going for runs in the nearby Sugar Pines State Park. It was a great getaway for us!
My wife and I spent 5 days here and we absolutely loved it. The cabin is very cute and perfect for a couple or small family. We will definitely be coming back to stay. The owner was very nice and easy to communicate with, I don't have a single complaint.
We loved staying at the cabin. Great location for us and the hiking was fantastic!! Clean, cozy and just what we needed.
Wonderful cabin with a great owner
This is the second time I've stayed at Bear cabin with my family and it was as before a wonderful stay. The location is great for proximity to winter skiing.
Above all, I would say that the owner is very easy to contact. We had to make some changes to our travel plan and the owner was exceptionally accommodating.
Thank you for your kind words. HAPPY you were able to enjoy your visit.
