Luxury 1 bedroom (converted to studio) Harbor Ocean view at the Ilikai Hotel

This rental is on the 21st floor of the Ilikai Hotel with a yacht harbor ocean view. This 1 bedroom apartment has been remodeled into a large 500 sq ft studio and is absolutely stunning. High end materials were used throughout the apartment. We used beautiful granite for the counter tops and back-splashes, and travertine stone tiles for the flooring throughout the unit, as well as the lanai. The kitchen has cherry wood cabinets and new appliances. The bathroom has the same cherry wood cabinet for the vanity, a new travertine tiled shower, extra large mirror and custom glass shower doors. Lighting has been upgraded in all rooms. Free local and long distance calls to the USA , Canada and Puerto Rico. Cable broadband internet provided free. We have a 46 inch Samsung internet connected LED TV and BluRay Player w/internet connection. We've also installed a safe to store your valuables. The 2 full sized beds can easily be pushed together if you desire as they are on wheels!

Why Mark and Christine McCune chose South Oahu

We love the location of the Ilikai Hotel, it's at the entrance of Waikiki providing access to restaurants and night life, while still a short walk to the Ala Moana shopping center for shopping and food. You can walk down the coast to Waikiki Beach or cross the Ala Wai Canal bridge and go to Ala Moana Beach Park for beach activities and barbecues!

What makes this condo unique

The studio apartment is on the quiet side of the Ilikai which faces the yacht harbor marina. The sunsets are stunning and the view changes everyday. You can even see whales during the season, watch surfers, and see boats coming in and out of the harbor. There is nothing more calming than sitting on the large lanai enjoying some food and a drink while the sun sets over the Pacific ocean.

The apartment is a condo in the Ilikai hotel. This was originally considered a 1 bedroom when they used japanese shoji doors as room dividers. Over time everyone has removed the doors to open up the view and give space to the apartment. Now it's a large studio apartment, 500 sq. ft inside with a 120 sq ft lanai. We have black out curtains and brand new high-end European furniture from a local furniture store named Inspiration. We have installed a safe for you to keep your valuables secure.

We stayed 10 days in this very comfortable and clean condo. The ocean view is breathtaking enjoying coffee in the morning. Quiet and close to the beach. Lots of Restaurants and shopping near by. Very nice place. Debbie I.

What a view - simply stunning would definitely stay here again.

A modern clean apartment with a simply stunning view. Was also amazingly quiet considering all the activing that is going on downstairs. The apartment has everything you need for a home away from home with a full kitchen and a handy coin operated laundry down the hall. Also very quick walk to the Ala Moana Beach Park (great calm spot for a swim) and shopping mall as well as the Waikiki Brewery which is well with a visit. Would definitely stay here again.

Simply Perfect!!!

This property was perfect! The condo itself was well maintained, fully stocked, comfortable and had everything we could have asked for - view included. It is close to several amenities that are within walking distance, including the Ala Moana Center, several restaurants, parks, etc. I was also very impressed with the staff at the Valet Parking, they were nothing short of fantastic and made our coming and goings very easy.

All the little extras that are included made the trip even more enjoyable - the beach chairs, towels, cooler, beach mats, portable shopping cart, wifi, free long distance calling to US and Canada and the same floor laundry! We used it all!

We also enjoyed the evenings and early mornings on the lanai watching the surfers and sailboats - so relaxing!

It is evident that you take great pride in providing a unit that is top notch, at the same time allowing your guests to experience the best of Hawaii. It really felt like our home away from home!

Thank you so much! We WILL be back!

Great choice

This was our first experience to Oahu and were glad we stayed here. You have a gorgeous view of the marina, surfers, and beaches to the north of the condo. Waikiki Beach is just a few minutes walk from the condo. This was perfect for us as we could enjoy the beach, but then get away from the large crowds that were there all day long. The two restaurants there were a big surprise. Cinnamons had great food at a fair price, and Sarentos at the top was a first rate fine dining experience. Take advantage of their happy hour deal to save money on the meal. This condo was very clean and had a new feel to it. We would gladly return.

Beautiful ocean view stay!

Immaculate modern suite close to beach and all amenities such as ABC store for supplies

Because we booked the suite in advance we did not recall the access code to our suite and could not find it easily on the numerous emails so had to call the owners Suggest on email communications that info on how to get into suite with any codes etc is really clear maybe in a separate email

This was just a small thing - the overall experience was just fabulous!!
