Oldest Neighborhood, still zoned Agricultural Mixed, with River less than 1 mile away. Area surrounded by irrigation ditches and varied farmlands. Delightful and comfortable full 3 Bdrm/ 2 BA (sleeps 8) . Talvera tile and wood floors throughout the house add to the colorful nature of this home. House is fully furnished with a king in the master bedroom, queen beds in the other two bedrooms. In addition, there is a queen sofa sleeper in the living area and another in Mstr Bdrm. Kitchen has microwave, stove, all utencials, dishes and pans. Newly renovated. Front porch area, on site parking. Blk to bus stop and Historic Plaza, etc.

My vision, as an owner, has been to provide out-of-towners with a property that reflects the history of Albuquerque and New Mexico and is just minutes away from a tremendous amount of important and historic sites, including museums, parks, shops, US Hwy 66 and more!

Sitting in the heart of the city,the oldest neighborhood (unplanned), historic, zoned agriculture/ mixed. This property's location makes a family vacation or a business trip convenient, accessible, enjoyable and memorable, just steps away from city transportation, or numerous area activities. Only 1 mile from the Convention Center, and 3 miles from UNM. Easy bus transportation to the Airport 5 miles away. For a daily dose of Albuquerque pictures (as well as local commentary), see the Duke City Fix web site. Photos are posted on the Albuquerque Photo Gallery near the top of the DCF home page. People post new ones daily, and there are often spectacular shots of the Albuquerque scenery.

Felt like I was home again, wonderful.

Cozy, easy access, perfect location

This was the perfect location for our family celebration weekend. We were able to comfortably sleep nine people (seven adults and two children). The home was fully stocked with dishes, cooking ware, pretty much anything you could need.

There isn't WIFI in the home (although you can sign up for a pass through XFinity) but there is a Starbucks just a couple of blocks away.

The home is very conveniently located to Old Town which is great for people who are visiting Albuquerque for the first time.

Great Location, great price

This is my 1st experience with a vacation rental. I booked this house for 4 people. There was ample space. The location was great, if gives people a good insight into southwest living. Only 2 cons 1. No Wi-Fi or internet, I should have asked before booking and 2. The owner walked in the front unannounced, without knocking on the last night. That was creepy--she did apologize. The cons are the reason for 3 stars.

Owner's Response: Great location with ample room Owner error, I forgot tenant stayed Sunday nite, & as I dove by home front entry gate was open, no vehicles so made quick stop & I was very surprised when I put hand on door knob , door opened, so I quickly apologized (embarrassed) & left Please Excuse this error/mistake.

The house was just what we wanted.

Our stay at Pauline's house was wonderful! It was in a perfect location for our day trip adventures and we had fun on the patio outside, enjoying the the beautiful weather. I highly recommend this place for a family vacation.

Owner's Response: These guests did not report they brought large dog(s) with them, so in a 3 bedroom 2 bath home makes for less space, when adding animals to stay. Owner permission is required,( so to determine if an extra cost will be required and/or reasonable space is available for size dog(s)). With this large family, in Winter, dogs would not have been reasonable. Their animal clean up has been an additional cost to owner.

This historic 180+ year old adobe house is located in the heart of old-town Albuquerque - just 1 block from the celebrated plaza (Owner is a descendent of the founding families). There are dozens of unique New Mexican shops, savory restaurants, unusual boutiques, galleries, artist studios, historic churches, etc. A short walking distance from the plaza is the famous Albuquerque Museum, Natural History Museum, Explora Children's Museum, the Sculpture gardens, Albuquerque BioPark and Aquarium, Rio Grande Zoo, etc. The Tiguex park for playing football, basketball, volleyball, and children's play equipment. Property is just one block to the Main City bus system and US Route 66. Can take the Airport Shuttle to/from HOTEL ALBUQUERQUE and walk 1 1/2 blk to house.
