When we began our remodel process, our goal was to keep the original character of the townhouse, but with upgrades to make it feel more like arriving at one of the nearby hotel vacation club units. We hope that you enjoy the updated bathrooms, the materials and finishes, the radiant heat tile, the chef-friendly appliances, the hotel quality linens and the general commitment to ease of use and cleanliness. This well-appointed and recently renovated, 2200 square foot townhome is a perfect destination for vacationing families or up to three couples.

The townhome is south-facing and overlooks the forested common area. Within the complex, the clubhouse and its summer amenities (pool, large hot tub, and tennis court) are only a one-minute walk away. If you choose to leave the tranquility of Third Creek, The Championship golf course as well as driving range, chipping and putting greens is located across the street. The Mountain Course is a five minute drive away as well. We are just minutes from the lake and all of the activities related to the lake and the trails around it.

In the winter, our access roads are quickly cleared and we are only five minutes from the Diamond Peak Ski Area. Mount Rose and cross-country ski areas are close for more winter fun. North Star, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Sugar Bowl and Heavenly Ski areas are all within short driving distances as well. We are also less than a mile from the Hyatt Hotel and Casino which offers gaming, entertainment, lakefront dining and full resort spa amenities. A first run movie theater, bowling alley, shopping, and restaurants are within easy walking distance.

Great Townhome, great location

We really enjoyed our stay at Rajan's place. Great details, newly renovated. Master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and king bed with sofa upstairs, two rooms with queens and bathroom downstairs. Main floor with fully updated kitchen with excellent appliances (wolf range and great dishwasher), dining room and living room. The home was immaculate and very roomy. also BBQ on deck. The location just up from Incline Village is super convenient. Easy walk or drive to Raleys, snow rental at Village Ski Loft down street, and super close to Mt. Rose and Diamond Peak. We couldn't ski on Sunday due to wind so we walked to the lake, a little over a mile. Some small issues with working the cable box on the TV and Rajan was super responsive. Highly recommend. Owner's Response: Glad you had a good stay, Oscar! I'm confused by the comment about the hot tub. The Third Creek hot tub is available through most of the winter (typically mid-December through mid-April) at the clubhouse and we provide a key. From Memorial Day through the end of September, both the pool and hot tub are available for use by our guests.

Wow! Relaxing and Chic!

Instead of buying presents, we decided to take a ski trip that the whole family could enjoy as our communal Christmas gift for everyone. We were fortunate to find this townhouse in Incline Village, Nevada. The owner was quick to respond to my initial inquiries regarding the property and was courteous and professional throughout the booking and check-in process.

One word for the "Third Creek Retreat" is WOW!!! The description online said that the unit had been recently remodeled, but we weren't expecting what we found when we walked in. First, it's deceiving from the outside, cuz it looks alot smaller than it is. Once inside, we were pleasantly surprised w/ the luxury of the remodel! Everything looked brand new: gorgeous wood (laminate?) floors, high ceilings w/ wooden beams ♮ wood trim throughout, lots of windows, granite counter tops ≠w fixtures in all bathrooms, a small but "professional chef's" kitchen (the appliances were so new and clean that I was nervous that I would get them dirty cooking on them :). The dining table comfortably seats 8 & is adjacent to a comfy sectional seating area where my kids were glued to the Christmas Day sports on TV. Wifi worked well &there was strong internet coverage on all 3 floors of the townhouse. It comfortably sleeps 6 and all the beds were very comfortable, w/ soft linens.

There were also little nice, thoughtful touches throughout the townhouse, like: lotion in the bathrooms &kitchen, hotel-size soaps & shampoos, basic spices in the kitchen.

The location was perfect! A nice upscale grocery store, a cinema, & several specialty boutiques were less than 5 min away. And we were minutes away from the ski resorts we went to (Diamond Peak and Mt. Rose).

I highly recommend Third Creek Retreat! We would definitely stay here again!

Notes & Tips:

*You can easily lock yourself out of the townhouse cuz the front door locks automatically from the outside when you close the door. So we attached the house keys to our ring with our car keys which made it harder to forget them inside. Just don't forget to leave the condo keys in the lockbox outside when you check out.

*The garage is TINY. It took my husband several tries to get our Kia Sedona minivan into the garage and then he had to contort himself to exit the car. Luckily, there's parking spaces right in front of the townhouse.

*Be aware that the refrigerator door will stay ajar if you don't close the left side-door first before you close the right-side door.

I reached the character limit in my review and wasn't able to stress this enough (my husband says I'm too wordy :). But wanted you to know the townhouse is immaculately clean from top to bottom! I dropped my chapstick under the bed and expected to retrieve it with dust bunnies attached and there was not a one :). I was also impressed that all those windows were clear and clean - and that's ALOT of windows! :) Please pass along my compliments to housekeeping and to your property manager who responded (on Christmas Day!) to my question about trash pickup. Additional Owner Comments: Thank you very much for the thoughtful review, Marna! Great tips for both potential visitors (and the owners! :-) ) Yes, the single garage is not large. While we occasionally do park in the garage (i.e. during snow storms) we typically park in the parking spaces right in front of the unit and use the garage for storage and staging outdoor activities depending on the season.

Elegant, Comfortable, Cozy and Convenient

We had the best time staying in this beautiful condo! It was cozy yet there was plenty of room to spread out and relax. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, with plenty of dishes and cookware, and the appliances are new and top of the line. We also made use of the grill out on the deck.

All of the bathrooms were spotless and elegant - and the heated floors are a welcome indulgence on cold days.

After a day of hiking, the hot tub was especially inviting and just a short walk on a paved path. The pool would be great fun for the grandkids the next time we stay.

The location is very convenient; close to the main drag, the enormous Raley's grocery store, hiking, the lake, restaurants, shops, etc.

This place is the best!
