Very nice stay. Market Place had best Mojitos! Playa Papaya had awesome breakfasts!
Very safe, clean. Uber was best way to travel into Old San Juan.
The view is priceless
The property was exactly as presented. The view of this property is amazing along with the location.
We had an odd power outage during our stay on one day. The owner's staff did an amazing job keeping us informed.
We would absolutely stay here again!
Wonderful beach home!
We loved everything about the property, especially the private beach. We didn't get to use the pool, but it looked great. Kim had shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the shower, which was unexpected, but delightful. Our only wish, would have been a blender, but we really didn't miss it. Will come back!
Cozy Apt for two
Small clean unit central location in quiet area of beach. Everything you need is included in unit for a nice beach day. Would definitely use again.
Simple surroundings, great location!
Sitting on the balcony of this condo is one of the great experiences you can have, watching the sea wash the beach and the activities on the sand. That alone is worth the price.
A room-by-room review:
Living room: The couch is very comfy, if a bit dated. The cable TV is bare minimum (no Food TV), and the remote is so used it's hard to get the buttons to work. But you can get up and sit in the comfy balcony chairs for visual entertainment!
The dining table is perfectly functional, and the chairs are roomy.
The kitchen: Mr. Coffee coffemaker works just fine (tip: At the CVS across the street, they sell the coffee up by the register, not in the grocery aisles.) No oven, but a small toaster oven. The stove is an induction cooktop, which can be challenging if you're not accustomed to that. Good assortment of pans/cooking utensils. Fridge works well and is full-sized.
Bathroom: Linens only provided two washcloths, which isn't enough for a several day stay. There are more now, since we left the ones we bought. Handheld shower head was a nice surprise. Water pressure in the sink was anemic, but serviceable. No soap dish in the tub if you're a bar soap person. There are dispensers loaded with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the tub, though.
Bedroom: FANTASTIC king-size bed. I'm a bed snob, and this one was great. The pillows could definitely use replacing, though. No TV in the bedroom, and the curtains don't so much to block the sunlight if you're a late sleepers. The ceiling fan over the bed is outstanding, and keeps it nice and cool for sleeping.
A/C: Be sure you keep the shade down on the living room window in the morning or the early sun will turn the room into something akin to a microwave. The A/C is an older unit, but it will cool the place nicely if you keep the sun out.
Neighborhood: Avoid the ice cream place across the street. Ridiculous prices for poor-quality ice cream and CRUNCHY crepes. The CVS is well-stocked. The pizza place a bit down the street is OK, but the men's room is located in an alley outside and is pretty scary.
Best breakfast: Bistro Cafe is about a mile away. Go there and eat all the things. El Alambique is walking distance and is an awesome beach cafe with great service.
Enjoy your stay!
Highly recommend! Very clean, secure, and great views
