About Janice Brown

Welcome to my home! I currently work in New York City but since I travel frequently to St. Augustine I decided to buy a second home. After thoroughly researching the area I purchased my lovely condo in what used to be the servants quarters for the Flagler Hotel in the 1800s. My unit has been completely luxuriously remodeled with all new furniture. I hope my home brings as much joy to you as it brings to me. Again, welcome and enjoy!

Janice Brown purchased this condo in 2009

Why Janice Brown chose St. Augustine

The condo is gorgeous inside, well maintained, located on a quiet street, has a dedicated parking space which is rare in downtown St. Augustine, and is two blocks from top notch restaurants, music venues, museums, etc.

Guestbook comments from the manager

You have a wonderful condo full of very homey touches. We loved coming back after a hard day of fun in St. Augustine! You have thought of everything to make it just right.

Most visitors start out with a sightseeing tour on one of the trolleys to get an overview of the city, as well as some of its history. Must sees would include the Castillo de San Marco, the Lightner Museum, a stroll down historic and pedestrian friendly St. George Street, a cruise or a sail on Mantanzas Bay, a visit to the San Sebastian Winery, a tour of Henry Flagler’s hotel, Ponce de Leon, now Flagler College and maybe even a ghost tour. A short distance away is the St.Augustine lighthouse and the beaches. There’s lots to see. Enjoy yourself.

Amazing stay at a beautiful property!

  • 5 of 5

I recently stayed at this condo and I must say everything about this property was just absolutely wonderful! In addition to being spotless this property was beautifully decorated and comfortable at the same time. Had all the amenities you need and there were even toiletries in the bathrooms which were a nice added touch. The proximity to historic St. Augustine was a major plus...leave your car behind at the condo unless you decide to venture further. I met with the owner Melody who was such a delight and gave me great tips for dining, nightlife and sightseeing. St. Augustine is such a fun place to visit. I will definitely be staying here again!!!! Thank you So much for a fantastic stay!! Can't wait to return!

An Exceptional Experience

  • 5 of 5

Lakeview #4 at Christmas was a special place within a special city. Though the building had just reopened after Hurricane Matthew’s invasion of the downstairs, this upper level condo with all its 1st class amenities was in top condition. Perfectly situated and very well equipped for our needs (we do cook), we added our own decorations and enjoyed a Christmas-through-New Year’s holiday. The property manager responded immediately to a couple of hiccups (like wifi disruption) and was more than accommodating in every respect. I can hardly wait to return in the spring!

Beautiful, Comfortable and Clean - This Property is Great!

  • 5 of 5

This is our 2nd trip to St. Augustine and both times we chose to stay in this property - a wise choice in all aspects! Janice, the rental agent, is top-notch. She is friendly, responsive and accessible at any time should you have a concern or a simple question. The property is well maintained and tastefully decorated. It is conveniently located to activities and surprisingly very quiet even though St. Augustine is a college town. If you're looking for a comfortable, safe, quiet and relaxing property to enjoy during your trip then this is definitely the condo for you!

While your in S. Augustine don't miss out on experiencing the cuisine at Harry's Restaurant - on a whim we stopped there for dinner. Delicious New Orleans style cuisine and the service was great. For the best pizza you'll ever eat, you have to visit Pizza Time. Be prepared to wait in line, but OMG the wait is well worth it! (heads up they do not take credit or debit cards - cash only). For a relaxing afternoon be sure to stop by Sangria's Tapas and Wine Bar at the corner of St. George and Hypolita. We sat upstairs on a corner table outside. Nice selection of beers, very tasty red Sangria and appetizers. Be sure to ask for Sarah as your server - fantastic!

Outstanding property with a model home feel and superb upgrades.

  • 5 of 5

I felt like I was staying at my best friends home. This friend enjoys the finer things in life. Her quests have clearly respected the space and it is very well maintained. Comfort, luxurious and historic.

I loved listening to the palm trees right outside the master bedroom window. The first morning, I woke up and forgot where I was.

Located within the historic district, we enjoyed early morning walks for coffee and later evening happenings without moving the car!!

The beach is within biking distance.

Everybody be nice to this place.....I'm coming back!

Great oasis within the city limits

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying in unit number 4 just off the main city trail. The other tenants inn the establishment were very friendly and the rooms and yard were terrific. Ee really enjoyed walking just outside the gates and walking around the small lake with all its wildlife. Great spot and a jewel within the city. The unit was very clean, orderly, stocked with all the items on needs to be self sufficient, if that is your choice or just walk up the historic street for a wide variety of eating/drinking/relaxing/partying/socializing establishments. We loved our stay and this great city.
