About Janice Brown
Welcome to my home! I currently work in New York City but since I travel frequently to St. Augustine I decided to buy a second home. After thoroughly researching the area I purchased my lovely condo in what used to be the servants quarters for the Flagler Hotel in the 1800s. My unit has been completely luxuriously remodeled with all new furniture. I hope my home brings as much joy to you as it brings to me. Again, welcome and enjoy!
Janice Brown purchased this Condo in 2009
Why Janice Brown chose Downtown Historic District
The condo is gorgeous inside, well maintained, located on a quiet street, has a dedicated parking space which is rare in downtown St. Augustine, and is two blocks from top notch restaurants, music venues, museums, etc.

Beautiful and Comfortable
We've had the pleasure of staying in this property at least 6 times over the past few years. It is decorated quite tastefully and the beds are so comfortable that you're almost guaranteed to get a great nights sleep. You certainly cannot go wrong by staying in this condo when visiting St. Augustine!
This property is unbelieveably fantastic!
This property, we were in Unit 4, is unbelieveably fantastic! Not only is it a historic site itself, but it is beautifully decorated and furnished with every amenity one could possibly need for an extended stay. And the location is perfect for walking to almost all of the Flagler historic sites and Lightner Museum, historic churches, and most other sites one would want to visit, as well as a peaceful walk around Maria Sanchez Lake every evening. The neighbors are nice and friendly, and Janice answered all of our questions and was very helpful. Private, off street parking is a definite plus. We would definitely visit again and recommend it highly.
Our Home away from Home!
We have stayed at this particular condo multiple times since May of 2015 and have never regretted it! The condo is well maintained and always clean as a whistle. Melody, the owner, has exquisite taste in decorating! The kitchen is well stocked if you want to cook – if not there are so many good restaurants to choose from that you will never go hungry. When we arrive, we know we can just sit back and RELAX since it truly feels like we’re in our second home.
Melody – We’ll be back again several more times this year. THANK YOU for being such a gracious hostess!
Perfect location to shops, water, attractions
Well appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Beautifully designed in classic furnishings, loved the luxury bedding Ann Gish! Elegant dining room and living room. Walk in shower with seamless glass doors was nice and lots of hot water. Best location for walking to dinner and local tours. We have stayed in many VRBO and this is one of our favorite, we'll be back! St Augustine is romantic and historical city, we would compare to cities in Europe.
Amazing stay at a beautiful property!
I recently stayed at this condo and I must say everything about this property was just absolutely wonderful! In addition to being spotless this property was beautifully decorated and comfortable at the same time. Had all the amenities you need and there were even toiletries in the bathrooms which were a nice added touch. The proximity to historic St. Augustine was a major plus...leave your car behind at the condo unless you decide to venture further. I met with the owner Melody who was such a delight and gave me great tips for dining, nightlife and sightseeing. St. Augustine is such a fun place to visit. I will definitely be staying here again!!!! Thank you So much for a fantastic stay!! Can't wait to return!
Beautiful condo, close to the center, very nice neighbors in the complex! Our family had a blast, the owner was a pleasure to deal with! Thank you for making our trip so wonderful!
Most visitors start out with a sightseeing tour on one of the trolleys to get an overview of the city, as well as some of its history. Must sees would include the Castillo de San Marco, the Lightner Museum, a stroll down historic and pedestrian friendly St. George Street, a cruise or a sail on Mantanzas Bay, a visit to the San Sebastian Winery, a tour of Henry Flagler’s hotel, Ponce de Leon, now Flagler College and maybe even a ghost tour. A short distance away is the St.Augustine lighthouse and the beaches. There’s lots to see. Enjoy yourself.
