Steps away from the pool and beach!

This 1st floor Hilton Head rental villa has beautiful views and is close to the beach! There are several upgrades including granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms as well as tiled walk-in showers in both bathrooms. There are flat screen TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. Your private balcony overlooks a pond with fountain water feature. The beach access path is right outside your door! You'll be down a few steps and out to the beach in just a few minutes! Renting in Barrington Park means you are very near the ocean and can save hundreds of dollars, with no sacrifice in quality. Barrington Park is the perfect location to access all amenities in Palmetto Dunes.

***4/5/24 – The pool and pool deck are open. The pool leak repair has been postponed and a future closure date has not been determined. The spa/hot tub will remain closed until repairs and approvals are completed – estimated open date Late May, 2024***

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was disappointed in the fact that the shower in one of the bathrooms had shampoo bottles from previous renter. This is actually very frustrating to me making me feel that bathroom maybe wasnt cleaned. If that wasnt cleaned what was the situation of the rest of the place. It looked cleaned but would like things disinfected not knowing the previous guest. We also got lock IN the room due to the deadbolt breaking. There was no one to call...there really should be someone on call for emergencies. What if the place caught fire and we were locked in? These situations did cause some anxiety frustrating me on what should have been a relaxing vacation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the location and everything went very smoothly. The condo furniture is showing its age (couch bottoms out and the bedspreads have seen much better days). Bathroom fan and ceiling fans could use a high dusting. Kitchen was well equipped although cutlery and dinner plates were unmatched.

Pleased Dunes Resort has changed check in procedure that allows you to go directly to your property. On check in, we had a small maintenance issue that was corrected in less than an hour, outstanding. Barrington is great property, nice pool area and easy walk to beach. The unit itself had some issues. Overall it appeared clean bit shower had a bad odor and tile was not clean. Quick trip to $ tree and we cleaned to our satisfaction. Patio furniture has rusted so badly it is not usable, we could not use patio during the trip, disappointing. Closet space is limited!

Even at peak season, the pool was never crowded and plenty of room on the beach given that it is not adjacent to any public access. Very comfortable stay.
