B204 3/3 gorgeous condo 200 yds to ski base, ski mtn views in unit washer dryer

Beautiful 3 bed 3 bath condo close enough to walk (or ride private shuttle) to ski with ski/gondola views! Granite counters, travertine floors, alder cabinets and trim, new furnishings, new beds, gas fireplace features and in unit washer and dryer (please bring HE laundry soap). 3 bedroom/3 bath (sleeps 9) is close to hot tub and is the only 3 bedroom with washer and dryer for guest use. our condo is quietly located on the back of the property near the heated pool and hot tubs. Robes and towels for pool and hot tub are provided by management company. The Lodge is located 200 Yards to ski base/gondola, about a 3 min walk, or use private resort shuttle service that comes with these condos. Professional Management includes front desk check in, free 24 hour key replacement and after hours check in assistance, travel services (flights, ground transportation), lift tickets (ask about discounts), bellstaff, towel service, bathrobes in units, complimentary wine on arrival (ski season), free WiFi, business center, and FREE seasonal mgmt co shuttles to ski base, downtown, groceries. Although you do not need a car during ski season for condos at the Lodge, our unit features a year round reserved covered parking space (ask front desk on arrival for a pass), and there is plenty of free parking in front of the condo. The Lodge is also on free city bus route.

We are completely ready for your arrival! Hot tub towels, all linens, completely stocked kitchen, hair dryers, complimentary soaps, shampoos, lotions, dish detergent are provided upon arrival. Mid week towel replacement is included in your 7 day rental rate - we do NOT charge extra cleaning or resort fees for our standard services; it's all included. If you prefer daily maid service for an additional fee, please ask at front desk on arrival.

About Karen

We've been coming to the Lodge and Steamboat for over 30 years, and B204 is the second condo we've owned in Steamboat. After skiing all over the Eastern seaboard and more crowded Western ski areas, some friends invited us to Steamboat because their kids could ski free, before we even had kids, and we fell in love with the SNOW. It's simply the best quality snow in the US. Now our own kids and their friends and their families are coming back too....we stayed at the Lodge in the early 80s with our family to ski, but when our kids played in Triple Crown, we discovered the incredible summers! Now we couldn't tell you which season we like best. The fly fishing is world class, and the hiking, and biking the core trail, and the restaurants. There is so much to do here that we eventually decided to own, and the owners and the staff at The Lodge immediately captured our hearts. While you are here, be sure to take the short hike to Fish Creek Falls. It's the falls pictured on the original yellow Coors cans.

Why Karen chose Northwest

Well, for one thing, it's so CLOSE to the skiing! We can walk over or ride the private Lodge shuttle, and when our teens were older, we were comfortable with them knowing their way around on their own. The layout of the condos is great for groups and families - each condo is one level - no stairs once you get in the condo, yet it feels spacious, the bedrooms are private, and there is plenty of room. We love the friendly staff and how very close the Lodge is to the base, and the price per night is very reasonable for the location and amenities. The shuttle service can't be beat, and is a great amenity, which is one reason why we use the mgmt co for our rentals. While the top of Mt Werner at Storm Peak lift tops out around 10,000 feet, with our vertical drop of nearly 3000 feet, Steamboat Springs' base elevation of about 6500-7000 feet is a lower than most Colorado ski areas, which helps people who struggle with altitude when staying at resorts where you sleep above 8000 feet. And then there is the SNOW. Not only does Steamboat get outstanding champagne powder snow, it's a BIG mountain with lots of varied terrain AND we learned we can sleep at night and don't get the elevation headaches the whole family struggled with at higher ski towns.

What makes this condo unique

Our 3 bedroom condo has 2 king masters and a third suite with queen + twin that is comfortable for adults or children, making it great for adult groups or families. Both master bedrooms have balconies and views of the mountain, and we are very close to the hot tubs and pool, but not too close that you worry about noise. We have a washer and dryer in the condo for guest use, as well as large commercial machines just down the hall for Triple Crown teams who need to get those uniforms cleaned in a hurry.

B204 is on the second floor in the building on the back corner of the property, making it one of the quietest buildings on the property (no road or plow noise we noticed in other ski resort properties before we owned one in Steamboat). This is especially nice in summer when you want to read on the balcony or during winter if non-skiers want to stay in and watch movies all day! Being on the second floor allows you to have the mountain views we all crave when in Colorado (remember it snows a lot here, so first floor windows don't usually have a view), and the privacy you may not get on the first floor (no one walking by your windows). We constantly update and check the condo to make sure everything you need is available and hope you will let us know if you need anything.

We want our guests to walk in and think that this condo they've rented is at least as nice and beautiful as their own home and that they've hit the jackpot on getting this condo for vacation! The Lodge is on the free city bus route and on the core trail (walk/run/bike trail that goes through Steamboat Springs). Shopping at deli is 2 minute walk next door. Restaurants next door and at ski base 2 to 5 minute walk. Ask at front desk to make arrangements for special shuttle pick up of large groups. ***** Lodge guests in these condos renting skis through Terry Sports can ask the management company shuttle to drop them off and pick them up at the Terry sports mountain shop where they can store their skis all week and have ski-in/ski out access to the gondola. Dreamy Comforts and Homey Feel

I traveled to Steamboat in the fall for Run Rabbit Run, my first 100 mile race. This place was the perfect home base for myself and friends that were helping me on the race and running the race too.

The kitchen was well stocked with all necessary hardware to make some good and hearty meals, along with a nice kitchen table to dine at. The living room had a nice feel to it with a comfortable couch and chairs to lounge in. The beds... well the beds were one of the best things there. Because the race I was participating in takes over 24 hours, I ran through the night. But when I was out on the course, about 50 miles in, and it was 1 AM, all I could think about was being able to lie down at the condo in the beds and rest.

Otherwise, the condo is quite close to the ski slope and any sort of activities going on near the Gondola and ski base. It only took a short walk (5 minutes).

The staff was very warm and pleasant, and the hot tub was a nice amenity for sore muscles afterwards. A wonderful stay during a beautiful time of the year.

This is a beautiful condo, lovely decor, kitchen well stocked with very nice cookware. Outstanding location and very pleasant and helpful Lodge office staff. We loved having swimming pool, grills for outdoor cooking and tennis courts. Beautiful flowers on grounds, all very well cared-for.

Fabulous Retreat in Steamboat.

This condo was wonderful. A group of college friends meet up once a year to keep up our remarkable friendship. This 3 bedroom - 3 bathroom was the perfect place to stay. It was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities of home. We loved the 2 patio's and spent much of our time enjoying the beautiful scenery and quiet solitude. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

We match all internet and mountain specials including kids ski free. Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival forfeit the initial deposit (30% in winter and 15% during summer). Cancellations made within 30 days (15 days in summer) of arrival are in full penalty (non-refundable). We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen events. Our Property Manager can assist you with travel insurance.

Check in: 4pm, check out: 10am. Let us know if you need assistance with late arrivals after our front desk closes and we will make arrangements for you! When you arrive, go to the lobby in the clubhouse (first building on the right as you enter the Lodge at Steamboat property). The front desk staff will welcome you, give you keys, direct you to your condo, assist with your bags, provide wifi codes, instructions on how to ride or call the shuttle (ski season only) and answer any questions you may have! Our condo comes with a washer and dryer and a covered parking space - ask the front desk which one it is if you would like to park there. A credit card will be taken at the front desk against incidentals or damages to the property.

Pay owner via credit card - owner will email you a link to pay via a secure Square credit card invoice - we will not "see" your cc numbers! At the time of booking, a deposit of 30% (15% during summer travel dates) of the lodging total is due. Remainder is due 30 days (15 days during summer travel dates) prior to arrival. For last minute bookings, full payment is required at the time of booking.

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
