The home was very clean & well stocked for Kit. appliances.
This was more than I could have ever imagined. It was beautiful area. Never a crowded beach, great neighbors, very homey.......I would love to re-visit in a year or two.
Fantastic Family Facility
With all the different levels and spaces there was room for all to have private and community time. We appreciated the wonderful, full size appliances including washer/dryer. We had horses in the yard many days. I highly recommend this property.
Great place to stay!
It was exactly as we expected and love the location
House was as Stephanie described. The location is nice and the wild horses visited several times daily.
We had a fantastic week and cannot wait to go back.
Exceeded our expectations except 3 days with little to no water coming out of the faucets.
The owners installed a filtration system which fixed the problems you may read about in similar homes (yellow water that smells of sulfur). Unfortunately, the filters must have been full because 3 days into our stay we lost water pressure, then we lost water all together. We called the owners on the 2nd day of no water and they said they would change out the filters but never came to rectify the situation. We were told to switch the valve on the filtration system to bypass. This worked out and they were easy to get a hold of (we should have thought of that sooner). Also, they had drinking/cooking water there so it was not a huge deal to go a couple days without a real shower since we were beaching it up anyway.
This is the best area to visit for a relaxing family stay. Horses and other wildlife were plentiful in this area.
The home was roomy and had everything we needed.
Thanks for a wonderful outer banks vacation!
Great house and location!
We had a great time here! The house is spacious and has good sized bedrooms and bathrooms that accommodated our whole crew. It was well kept and had all the linens and kitchen utensils you would need for your stay. At first we were thrown off by the yellow color of the water, but Stephanie assured us we were safe to use the water which we did! The only problem we encountered was little water pressure which came at the end of our stay. We were still able to shower and use the water, but it could have been a bigger issue if it was that way the whole week. We drove to the beach everyday, but the walk is quick and easy too. We really enjoyed our stay here! Thank you!!
