Well appointed. Great location & sun terrace catches last rays of the day with a cocktail.... or two
Had a great time. We were moved to No 4 as No1 had flood damage apparently. All worked well & ensured we had a wonderful, stress free long weekend.
Two things need sorting ..... two bulbs above dining room table need replacing & new tin opener is required as existing is broken.
Everything else is perfectly formed!!
Apologies we forgot to fill out the visitor book.
Please print this and stick in instead.

Very cosy and comfortable full of character
Everything you need for a base, comfortable beds, two bathrooms, kitchen well equipped, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine if needed! Bus stop at the top of drive, can walk to two great pubs in 10 minutes, the George and the Bathampton mill. Didn’t use the car at all, great for exploring the area. Had a wonderful time😊
Beautiful cottage on the doorstep of Bath
We have just had a three night stay in No 4 The Malthouse and was very impressed with the property. It was very clean, well appointed and had a quirky layout which we loved. Bath was a 40 minute walk along the canal and buses and taxis were east to get you home in the evening. Would definitely recommend the Malthouse to friends.
Beautiful Break in Bath
Beautiful accommodation with lovely character. David was extremely helpful with all aspects of our holiday, making sure our arrival was smooth and adding lovely touches, flowers, bread, milk and butter.
The Malthouse is located in Batheast just 10 minutes from the centre of Bath, with bus stops in both directions on your door step.
We are looking forward to visiting the Malthouse again in the summer months, We would highly recommend this home to families, couples. BEAUTIFUL. Many Thanks
Great family cottage near Bath
We loved the converted barn cottage, perfect family property for 4 of us. The girls loved the upside down feel of the cottage with the bedrooms being on the ground floor! The bus stop right across the road made travelling into Bath really easy and much cheaper than taking the car and paying for parking, plus we could have a drink too! The City bus tours were a great way to see the city and get your bearings. The Roman baths were really interesting too. We tacked on a trip to Wookey Hole and Stonehenge too which are both worth doing.
The basket of bread and biscuits on arrival were a nice touch as was the visitors book. We really enjoyed our stay.
Lovely cottage in quiet location
The cottage was very tastefully decorated with good quality items and fittings. Very happy with decor and embience of the property. The beds were very comfortable so we all slept well. The bathrooms also great, with all that you needed, showers very nice and good pressure. A welcome pack of bread, tea bags and wine etc greeted us on arrival, many thanks for making our stay in the cottage very memorable for all the right reasons. Will definitely stay again soon.
The location of the Malthouse makes it a great base to explore all the surrounding areas. The roman city of Bath has been designated as a World Heritage Site, with many fascinating historical sites to be seen, some dating back as far as the first century. The world famous roman baths are not one to be missed. As Well as its history Bath has an abundance of designer shops and boutiques, with a wide and varied choice of restaurants, bistros and pubs. Bath City Centre is two miles away, with a regular bus every ten minutes.
