Best part was LOCATION.

  • 4 of 5

We had a 5 night stay. The location was the absolute best part. We were able to walk anywhere in town from the house. If you have to drive, pay attention to parking prices, they are crazy expensive. Pikes Peak is just up the road along w/Manitou Incline and Garden of the Gods is a short drive. If you are traveling w/children, it is an old house that has old wooden loud floors. The downstairs bath has a super small toilet area and a shower that is extremely difficult to even bend to wash legs/feet. So, if you are a L/XL, plan to use the upstairs bathroom. The master upstairs is very nice and bed was great! The downstairs bed was comfortable, but firm. The only table seating are stools, but nicely padded. The amount of mule deer that pass through the front yard in the morning is amazing! Relaxing on the front porch or backyard is soooo nice.

Note to owner:

The downstairs bedroom could really use new sheets and pillows. Knife set needs sharpening. There was a lightbulb out in kitchen, but not so annoying to have to call someone. One of the limbs in front yard is resting on power/phone line coming to house. Main screen door could use a rubber grommet to keep it from slamming. Return vent and toilet exhaust fans need dusting.

Cute and quaint house

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I enjoyed our time in this little house. Its perfect in every way! We enjoyed our coffee on the front porch, but the backyard was amazing as well. The house was well equipped with coffee needs, too! I thought the owners are smart for supplying some of the items like adequate amount of toilet tissue, paper towels, coffee needs, etc.

The home is an easy walk to downtown Manitou Springs. We enjoyed breakfast at Good Karma, a beer at The Keg (thank you again for the certificate) twice, dinner/beer at the Manitou Brewing, wine at Swirl, and tasting the spring water! If we ever go back to Manitou, I would definitely check into staying here again. Oh and we saw deer coming down the street!

Thank you for sharing your house rental!

TRULY "Home Sweet Home"

  • 5 of 5

Our stay in Manitou Springs at "Home Sweet Home" was amazing!!! While we found many exciting and awe inspiring things to do in the gorgeous Colorado environment, we also found the house welcoming and comfortable so much so that we couldn't wait to return each day. After busy mornings of various activities or sightseeing, we enjoyed relaxing on the front porch to discover the rhythm of the neighborhood.

We most definitely would love to be repeat guests at this home and intend to promote it highly to friends and family.

Can't thank you enough for making your home the highlight of our seven days in Manitou Springs!

Adorable Home in a Great, Central Location

  • 5 of 5

The downtown Manitou home was even better in person than depicted on the website. The outdoor living spaces are lovely. We had chilly, rainy weather for much of our stay, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor tiered patio as much as we would have liked to, but the wrap-around covered porch was a nice alternative. The house had everything we needed for our stay and the bedrooms on both floors lended privacy to both couples. We would definitely stay here again.
