Guestbook comments from the manager

I can't believe that it has been a month since I was in London!

I stayed in the Rosary Gardens flat along with my adult daughter and a family friend who are similar in age (+/-25). We are so happy that we found your company on line and were able to experience living in the South Kensington neighborhood for our stay- as opposed to spending 7 nights in a hotel.

Aside from cost savings (which is considerable!), the experience in our lovely flat was priceless. The flat itself was clean and nicely furnished, and was big enough for us to have comfortable meals, space for rest and downtime. The kitchen itself was small but well stocked and once we figured out how to use the washer/dryer combo everything was perfect.

The master bedroom was really nice- with a great comfortable bed with a down comforter and the windows provided light and a view of the neighborhood behind the building. There is more than enough closet space in the master bedroom to handle quite a few suitcases of clothes etc. The twin beds in the smaller bedroom were also comfortable and warm.

One of best advantages of staying in the property was being in a neighborhood. We had the choice of exploring the local pubs, restaurants, grocery stores, florists, etc. in our neighborhood or just being able to make a great meal in our flat and enjoy a glass of wine. The location was really convenient with the Gloucester Tube Station a few short blocks away and we were able to see quite a few of the "must-see" attractions in London with easy access and always with that great comfortable couch and comfy bed waiting for us at the end of the day.

Everyone we dealt with at London Connexions was great; from Christine helping me with my booking and the change of properties, to Ricardo who was our very pleasant and helpful "greeter" at the property itself, and finally David, our driver, who gave us great tips, gossip and UK news - both on the way to our flat and then back to Heathrow and home to the US.

This was my "dream trip" as I have been an English history fan for years and have wanted to visit not only London but other areas of the UK as well. We really felt like we were able to "live" in London for a week and not just visit. That is what made this experience so priceless.

Great apartment! Wonderful location!

  • 5 of 5

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this conveniently located London apartment. The apartment was neat, clean, and quiet, and all of the London attractions were only steps away on the Piccadilly Line. The location could not have been more perfect. Within a few blocks of the apartment are grocery stores, pubs, and restaurants, so everything you could need is close by and easy to got to. We would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful stay!

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay in the flat. Was met and given an overview of the property and lots of good information about banks, grocery stores and restaurants in the area. Very close to just about everything you need for a stay in London.

The flat was very quiet and the beds super comfortable and came with everything needed for a week long stay. Would highly recommend the flat.

Great rental, would definitely stay here again.

  • 5 of 5

Our family of three (inc adult daughter) stayed here, and it was a great experience throughout. Fast and responsive communication with everyone. We messaged Cristina via WhatsApp from the States, and again when we landed at Heathrow, and Ricardo was waiting for us at the flat when we arrived. This is a great neighborhood, direct tube from and to LHR. Lots of restaurants close by, inc some inexpensive choices (Beirut Express, Bosphorus Kebabs, Caffe Forum, Raison D'etre). The Waitrose at Gloucester Rd Station has lots of great choices for breakfast, takeaway meals, household items. The neighborhood itself is easy walking distance to museums (Victoria and Albert, Natural History, Science), Kensington Palace, Royal Albert Hall. Great connections to everywhere else we wanted to go to (the usual..TOL, Westminster Palace, Covent Garden, Harry Potter Studios, Brit Museum) and it was so nice to come home to a calm, quiet neighborhood after a long day. The apartment itself is very well maintained, spotlessly clean. The beds and linens are very comfy. There are 3 hairdryers. The washing machine is a combo wash/dry, the clothes don't get completely dry, but there are drying racks to finish the job. We loved this apartment, and would definitely stay here our next trip if available. If not, then we'd definitely go with another London Connection property.

The only heads up I'd give is that this is on the 3rd floor, no elevator. No problem for us, we like stairs, but some with mobility concerns might want to be aware.

Exceeded our expectations! Clean, well appointed and centrally located! Highly recommend this flat as a home base for your London visit. A few blocks from the Glochester tube station that is central to Heatheow airport and all London attractions. Very comfortable, updated, clean and bright! Will certainly be back!!

Great Location! Great Flat, Even with Young Children

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Flat C for 4 nights in early November and were thrilled with the stay. The flat was well appointed and perfectly equipped for my wife and I and our 2 children (3 and 5). The location can't be beat, just a short few blocks to Gloucester Road - on the tube line from Heathrow! There are two grocery stores and plenty of restaurants within minutes walk while still being on a relatively quiet street in a beautiful neighborhood. We were very comfortable but - most importantly with little ones - we were able to get anywhere with ease. We didn't have a need to reach anything that couldn't be reached using the District, Circle, or Piccadilly lines, all available from the Gloucester station. Two thumbs up!

Disclaimer: The Flat is on the 2nd floor (3rd floor for Americans) and even being close to everything we regret not bringing a stroller ... things are still far a part when you get to your destinations throughout the day. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, just thinking of you parents out there!

Great choice

  • 5 of 5

Our trip was great. We had lots of fun. That was our first trip to London. We enjoyed every single place we visited. We enjoyed most of all our apartment. It was the right size for my family. It has all the amenities needed. We loved its location. It was close to the tube, hop on hop off bus, delis, and dining places. Our driver was also great. Our greeter was very helpful. She met us in the apartment at 12 midnight, and helped us with the luggages. It was by far the best vacation we had so far. If I go back to London, I will be definitely stay in the same place. I will also recommend it highly to all my friends.
