What a view!
This home has a spectacular view of the mountains and has a spacious
indoor living space. The backyard is lovely with a great pool and
landscaping. The home was well stocked with spices,
cleaning supplies and paper products. The owners were very attentive.
It was a wonderful place for a winter getaway.

Palm Springs Delight
We've come to PS a number of times and this was one of our favourite visits. The house was lovely. After hiking & cycling, it was great to come back and hang out by the pool. Cocktails by the fire were perfect as the sun went down. It was equally cosy inside and the kitchen was well-appointed; important as we cooked all our meals. Would definitely recommend this place.
Well we barely wanted to leave the house on our first trip to Palm Springs, which speaks wonders for a vacation rental. The details, decorating and quality of comforts were very much appreciated. The privacy of the property but open floor plan was unique and rare. Although we had a full house, the home still felt open and spacious and we very much had enough room. There were many areas of the property to 'hang out', the pool, living room, outside area, ping pong table and fire area. A great home that we will definitely bookmark for a future vacation!
Our week in Palm Springs hit the jackpot!
I don't mean at the casino either....the home was beautiful and very well decorated true to the mid-century style in both look and feel. Everything looks like it came out of a time machine from the early 1960's, yet it all works like it's brand new.
The three bedrooms are ample in size, and the beds are all comfortable. Closets are huge and there is great storage for everything one could want. The bathrooms are nicely done, with the original "sunken" tub in the master. The kitchen has a working stove and wall oven that look like they could be original. Both work just fine. There is no dishwasher, but if you keep up with your washing after every meal it's not a problem. The living room is bright and looks out onto a beautiful pool with a nicely landscaped back yard. The evening yard lights add a nice touch when darkness arrives. Looking west you have a view of the mountain, and can catch the sun as it slips over the summit in the evening. There is even a ping pong table and Tiki Bar in the garage, which is open to the breezeway.
The home is less than five minutes from a full grocery store and pharmacy. It's simple to get to Sunrise Way and head south, or to zip west to Palm Canyon and head to the downtown.
The owners are responsive and the local property manager is just a text away if you have any questions.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, even if the May weather was unseasonably hot.
A fantastic get away!
We came for a spring break vacation- 4 adults and 2 kids. The house was clean, beautiful, light and airy. The pool was fantastic (we paid to have it warmed), and we hardly spent any time inside because it was so great out on the patio. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was close to everything. We loved being off the main streets and near a great park. We'll definitely come again.
This house is in pristine condition and we would like to keep it that way.
Legend has it that this house was once owned by Dolly Parton, and rumor has it that the gardner fell out of a tree after witnessing Dolly swimming in the Buff.
The last owner of record was her wardrobe person and she was seen at the house many times.
The house has a magical feel and once possessed a very large tiki fountain.
The original tiki goddess still resides in the garage, and brings all guests good luck and fertility.
Nominated for Best Mid Century Restauration in 2017.
You will have access to the entire house and yard including the ping pong table in the garage and lounge area off the garage.
