Beautiful WHITE LOFT: 2 BEDROOMS + 2 full BATHROOMS en suite, AC, 2 balconies, spacious 80m2 (860 square feet), and capacity for 6 people.

Both rooms are isolated and separated from the rest, despite the open plan of the living. And futon as third bed if needed.

Metro station is right at the entrance, but you barely need it, as you may walk everywhere. Easy access from the airport.

Mercado de San Anton is right on the corner, a food spot in Madrid: 2 penthouse restaurants, tapas and wines, gourmet bakery and groceries.

INSIDE THE LOFT

Ceilings are 3,3 m high and all is white, which gives a great sensation of space and brightness. The open plan light-filled living room is furnished with a dining central table and 4 Eiffel chairs, 2 French style armchairs and antique bookcase, one double bed sofa. TV and WI-FI provided. A fine art photograph of Nepal and circled modernist lamps decorate the room.

Master bedroom is isolated by a sliding door from the living. It has one double bed, closet and a Bertoia chair. A large photograph from Burma as headboard, gives privacy to the ensuite full bathroom.

Two 3 m high balconies overlook the square. Equipped with the best double glazing isolation, assures a quiet stay.

Spacious kitchen with fridge freezer, induction cooktop, central table + 4 chairs, vintage mirror and glass lamps from a design store. There is an extra separated bedroom with its own full bathroom, queen size bed, a spacious wardrobe, and a desk.

These features and its location, place this elegant loft as premium accommodation in Madrid.

ABOUT THE AREA

With a 5 min. walking distance to Gran Via, and Chueca Square as the epicenter, neighborhood Chueca has probably become the most frequented area in Madrid over the last years.

Known by madrilians as a eating and shopping area, discover both modern Spanish and world cuisine restaurants, as well as a shopping district with trendy stores (like Fuencarral pedestrian street). Sunny sidewalk cafes and rooftop bars are places to see and be seen, with fashionable people, or just anybody interested in the vibe of this unique and cosmopolitan spot. And variety of spots to have a drink at night.

Young entrepreneurs run small modern bakeries, hairdressers, clothing boutiques, bookstores, cafes...with lots of character. Find also big supermarkets (Opencor, Dia...) or the remarkable Mercado de San Anton, with its penthouse restaurant.

Quiet, roomy and well-located

Very pleased with the unit. It's a busy area but you can't hear any outside noise at all with the windows closed. Everything you need, including a metro station, is right at your fingertips. Representative was on time to ensure trouble-free entry. Some minor caveats, and these were things I was wondering about before I arrived, so readers might also be interested: 1. There's room only to stand, not sit, on the balcony. 2. I couldn't find any English stations on the TV except for one part-time English broadcast. But that's okay - I wasn't in an English speaking country! 3. There's only one air conditioning unit. It cooled the apartment sufficiently except for the back bedroom which was a bit warm during the day. But it was cool enough at night with the help of a fan. 4. The partial glass wall between the bathroom and the front bedroom does not provide complete privacy. Just minor things that didn't significantly detract from an otherwise pleasant experience.

Great location. Wonderful ambiance,

The loft is well appointed with it's two bedrooms and bathrooms and eclectic decorating. At night, the double pane windows and shutters shut out the energetic sounds of Chueca Square, which is located in a neighborhood with a great mix of locals and tourist. Mercado San Anton, which had been recently renovated was right on the corner where we entered the square. Daily trips were made there for groceries and wine. The Mercado also has a fish market, several restaurants and delicatessen stores besides a great rooftop patio to enjoy a cocktail after a long day exploring Madrid. The square has coffee shops, tapas cafe's and outdoor patios. The subway entrance/exit is in the middle of the square. The whole thing could not be more convenient.

What a Great Apartment! Highly recommend it!

This apartment has everything! It’s cute, well maintained, close to everything, and spacious!

Literally, feet away from the Chueca metro station – you can access everything Madrid has to offer! There is a supermarket nearby. Many pubs, bars, and restaurants.

Jose and his team were very good to work with. Easy!

The apartment is well appointed. It’s layout with two bedrooms – each with it’s own bathroom – on opposite ends of the apartment is wonderful.

The apartment’s written “house rules” made things very clear; I wish more rentals had this information.

Fabulous 2 bdrm apartment- great location!

This apartment is in a perfect location! We loved its proximity to so many things. The square below is lively but the apartment windows and shutters block out all noise. A real neighbourhood with loads of shops and restaurants nearby. The apartment is spacious and clean. Not luxury but very comfortable. We would return.

A Dream Vacation

Jose went out of his way to make us feel welcome and to stay in contact with us. He was extremely responsive during the booking procedure and the months leading up to our stay. The loft was very stylish, comfortable, and made excellent use of space. The metro station is just steps away from the loft, but most of the time, we walked the 5 to 20 minute walk to the museums, El Retiro Park, restaurants, Gran Via, shopping, etc. We ate breakfast every morning overlooking the bustling square. We enjoyed a festive birthday party celebration across the street from the loft at the Mercado de San Anton. Our party consisted of middle-aged and 20 somethings and each and every one of us fell in love with the loft and Madrid!
