Welcome to The Westrock! This 1800 sq ft 3 bedroom, 2 bath house is in a tucked away in the Barton Hills neighborhood that offers a perfect family abode that is within 3 miles of everything that Austin has to offer, including downtown, Zilker Park, Barton Springs Pool, University of Texas and it's also within about a quarter mile of The Barton Creek Greenbelt! Oh, and The Broken Spoke is literally two blocks away! Bring your dancin boots!

In the house you have a king bed in the master bedroom, a king in the second bedroom and two twins in the third. So you can comfortably sleep 6 people in beds. In the living room we have a queen sized fold out couch in case you do end up with 7 or even 8 people.

There are two full bathrooms, each with a shower/tub combo. The kitchen is gorgeous and open to living room, which get's a ton of sunlight. Enjoy the 46' TV in the living room that is connected with the AT&T Uverse U300 Cable package - so you can watch all your favorite shows when you're not dancing at 'the spoke.' This includes The Longhorn Network. HOWEVER: as of Feb 2015 we will have Google Fiber internet and TV!

So much good food around here, as well. Dozens of great restaurants within walking distance.

You're also within a couple blocks of an entrance to the Barton Creek Greenbelt - which is one of the natural crown jewels of Austin. You can literally hike for miles in the middle of town without even knowing you're in a city. Beautiful stuff and well worth packing a lunch and taking a nice long hike!

Public transport is easy and we have a private charter vehicle available as well.

This is a fabulous three bedroom home in one of Austin's premier neighborhoods, Barton Hills. The location is perfect for exploring town and still having a quiet place to go relax and regroup.

What makes this house unique

We had a huge deck built in the back yard! Plus you can walk to lots of great eats. But the best thing: Zilker Park and the Barton Creek Greenbelt is a short distance away. Downtown is only 3 miles. New restaurants are opening within just a few blocks seemingly every day!

I was incredibly impressed with this beautiful house! We originally were going to rent hotel rooms for our party of seven, but knew we needed a place where we could all come together, and hotel rooms just did not provide that. This house is in an ideal location: less than two miles from Sunset Valley, a mile from downtown, and right off Lamar. We never had to travel far for anything we needed! I have rented houses before, but never one so well stocked with items. I always bring my own toiletries, kitchen essentials, etc., but that was not needed. They provided everything! The house was immaculate and beautiful with the most wonderful outdoor space. I will definitely be renting this house again!

  • The master bedroom has a lovely king! The second bedroom has a beautiful king sleigh bed, and then there's two twins in the third bedroom. If you do need more room, there is a queen-sized pull out couch in the living room and we can provide an extra twin sleeping mat if need be.

Notes:
The Westrock is a fully furnished and well thought out vacation rental home. With two king beds and two twins and two full bathrooms, a family of 6 (or 7) will be very comfortable. We've tried to think of everything you'd need and we start you with organic coffee, filters, creamer and sugar. There's basic condiments in the fridge. The Westrock is equipped with central heat and AC, beautiful living areas, a brand new back deck, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen and plenty of linens and towels for you. There are TV's in the living room and master bedroom with full ATT Uverse Cable. This is a fabulous location to enjoy the best Austin has to offer, just a stones throw off of South Lamar (but far enough that there's no traffic noise), you've got dozens of fabulous restaurants and bars within walking distance! Good location

This is a good location and a nice neighborhood. The house was clean with convenient amenities, such as coffee and lots of clean towels. The owner and his reps were responsive and helpful. I would stay there again.

This property is in a great location and was exactly as depicted. We looked at other properties but switched to this one based on reviews of the property management. We had a small issue at checkin that was promptly responded to and quickly resolved. Lots of pre-trip tips provided by the property team were an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again.

Great house

We enjoyed our stay at Westrock. The back deck is spacious, as is the kitchen. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood, too. Jay was very responsive and provided comfortable amenities. The house was clean and comfortable, and we had easy access to downtown, parks and the freeway. We would definitely stay here again! 💜?

Cute, cozy, and clean

The condo that we were going to rent became unavailable, so the owner asked if we would like to stay in a house. There were just two of us, so we had more roomed than was needed. But, we thought it was a great house! Nice big kitchen, attractive bedrooms with two king beds and two twins, and a cool deck with fun lighting.

The location was good for our activities, especially since we were wanting to visit my cousin's new restaurant Eberly. It was just a quick drive down S. Lamar. The toiletries are always appreciated as well as the coffee beans. Highly recommended!
