A perfectly located, modern town home located in the Cherokee Triangle Historic Preservation District. Less than 500 feet from a great restaurant, a great ice cream and pie shop, several casual restaurants, two coffee houses, three clubs, a health club and several shops. One of six perfectly maintained and furnished historic district properties we have made available for short term rental.
Digital lock allows guests to let themselves in on arrival-- no key pick up required.
This three story condominium has two king bedrooms, two full baths, an additional first floor half bath and a full laundry. Flat screen televisions, wifi and gas fireplace are all provided.
It is 1550 square feet. On the first floor is the living/dining area with a queen sleeper sofa and dining table for six. There is also a full kitchen, powder room and a large flat screen television. A gas fireplace provides warmth and atmosphere in the fall and winter. On the second floor is a full laundry room with washer/dryer, a king bedroom and a full bath. The third floor contains an over sized bedroom with a king bed and a full sized sleeper sofa. The third floor also has a full bath with shower for two.
WiFi, cable and two parking spaces are all included. Parking is available immediately outside the unit or inside the gated parking area (accessible by the provided remote control).
Beds are made with top quality 400 thread count cotton sheets and four quality pillows. Kitchen is fully equipped with high quality appliances (gas range, stainless Samsung french door refrigerator, dishwasher, etc.) and fully stocked with flatware, dishes, pots, pans and standard utensils. Of course, there is a coffee maker and bean grinder (and locally roasted whole bean coffee), toaster, microwave and hand mixer.
Public transportation (bus and trolley stops) are located within 200 feet of the front door.

The home is warm and inviting. Every detail is included. Loved the washer/dryer and especially location. We walked to every meal and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great place and fabulous location! Beds are very cozy, linens fresh and everything was clean and nice. There is one pic in the description that indicates the living room furniture is brand new, but the pic was not taken from the townhome we stayed in. Our LR furniture was older and was completely covered with (very clean) slip covers. This did not bother us and still giving 5 stars, am adding to the review only because that pic is a little deceiving. The rest of the place is as pictured and great. Jack Fry's just down the street is a must go to for a great dinner, plus there are many other cool places within walking distance as indicated. We will definitely stay here again if we get back to the area, thank you!
Thanks for your review! About the difference in furniture-- you were actually in the unit directly next door to the one you booked due to an error on my part--- I am sorry! The townhouses are identical in floor plan, bed sizes and amenities, but have different living room furniture. Most people seem to prefer the one you were in as the sofa with slipcovers are both sleepers with Stearns & Foster mattresses.
The townhouse was very clean. Perfect for our stay. Sometimes the road noise is loud but the sound machines in the bedrooms help a lot. Deirdre is an excellent owner! We will stay again.
Long Anniversary Weekend in Louisville
Great location. We were able to walk to dinner two of the days that we were there and would have walked on a third night if the weather had been warmer. Quick 5-10 minute drive downtown and good access to the bourbon trail. Place had everything that we needed and was very clean. Having a place to park was an extra bonus.
This townhome is located within 150 yards of a half dozen restaurants in one direction and a peaceful national arboretum in the other! Shops, cafes, clubs, cinema and great restaurants are all within a five minute walk. Downtown is less than two miles away, the airport is 5 miles and Churchill Downs 4.5 miles. The city's best park, a 400 acre oasis, is less than a mile away. This home is truly at the crossroads to everywhere that is anywhere in Louisville

Cancellation terms: With the exception of Kentucky Derby week and Iron Man weekend, If you cancel more than 15 days before arrival, there is a cancellation fee of $125, the rest of your payment will be refunded. If you cancel less than 14 days before arrival, the cancellation fee is $250, the rest of your payment will be refunded. No cancellations less than 5 days before arrival. For Kentucky Derby and IronMan, there is a 50% cancellation fee.
