Come to Ocean Beach ('OB') and experience San Diego's eclectic, authentic beach town. OB is a few minutes by car from the popular Sea World, 10-15 minutes from the San Diego Airport, the World Famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Padres Stadium, the Gaslamp District, Little Italy and Old Town.
THIS COTTAGE INCLUDES:
** Off street parking!**
** Full kitchen - fridge, stove, microwave, pots/pans, dishes for 4!**
** TV with DVD (*note* no cable) - there is an antenna that receives local channels, but we have no control over the airwaves.
Our clean & charming 1 BED/1 BATH - 1920's beach bungalow is located two blocks from the beach and is ideal for two people, but will accommodate four (2 adults/2 young ones or folks who are OK with very cozy accommodations). [* Please note* - the cottage is not baby proofed.]
The bedroom has a queen bed & comfy sheets. We also have a queen air mattress that can be set up in the middle room (for guests 3 & 4). There is a full bath (tub/shower), as well as a small kitchen (with utensils - dishes, pots/pans) for those times you want to stay in and cook a meal. Perfect after shopping for fresh food during Wednesday's Farmers' Market.
We're right around the corner from public transit - bus #923 drops you off on on Broadway in the heart of downtown San Diego (~20 min. bus trip) and the Gaslamp District.
We purposely don't have cable, but the cottage has a TV and DVD player. Red Box is just down a block from the cottage (in front of the 7-11). There is a SMALL, private, outside back patio with a small seating area, umbrella as well as a washer/dryer.
This is a charming, simple cottage built in the 1920's, so it's not perfect/fancy and WILL have its quirks.
We do allow well behaved, house trained adult dogs. Please contact us in advance with your desired dates and we'll adjust the rate for bringing your furry family member.
As the majority of the greater downtown SD area, we are on a flight path. Although it is convenient to have our airport downtown, it makes a lot of San Diego's urban areas on the flight path and some people may notice it, some people may not.
