House with 3 double bedrooms, wi-fi, terraces and heated pool.
This lovely Madeiran home is set in its own safe and secure grounds in the peaceful Arco da Calheta hamlet of Ledo. The house is a century old and still has lots of original features. The main one being the traditional wine press which was used to produce wine up until 2007.
There are three double bedrooms, 1 en-suite, a large fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar seating up to 8 people, family bathroom and lounge/dinning room. In addition to this the original bread oven room has been opened up to overlook the pool area. This oven has been kept as a feature of the original property.
To the front of the property is a garden with trees and plants, the feature here being a stone statue of Bacchus the Roman god of wine. To the back of the property is a heated pool with seating area for loungers and chairs. There is also a built in barbeque and table and chairs seating 6 people. The property also has Wi-FI in all rooms, CD bluetooth player, DVD player and MEO TV. There are beautiful views of the vast ocean to the front and of the scenic mountains and forests to the rear.
Within walking distance is the newly opened modern sports and leisure centre with children's playground and cafe. Two sandy beaches, a marina and the internationally renowned Casa da Mudas art gallery are 5 minutes drive away.
This area benefits from the warm temperatures of Calheta with it's own sunny micro-climate ****
