Great retreat in Kings Beach!

  • 5 of 5

My mom, my sister, and I stayed here for a few nights in August 2018. We really enjoyed it!

My mom has some difficulty with stairs, so I really liked that there was a bathroom and bedroom on the same floor as the kitchen and living space. I noticed the shower was a walk-in shower on that floor too. She did have to walk the one floor up each time, but that wasn't too bad for her.

The bathrooms are very nice. I liked the tile floors and tall ceilings. Water worked well. A gas stove is a plus for people that like cooking.

The whole condo was in great condition. The fireplace is easy to use. The beds were comfortable.

The location is just north of the downtown area. You're probably driving to hang out at the beach, but there was plenty of parking when we were there. You could walk or bike it, but the condos are uphill from the "downtown", a little over a mile.

We also enjoyed the pool of the complex. We enjoyed sitting on the deck. The grill was very nice and well-maintained.

The only true negative is to be aware of parking. It is tight when it is busy.

Thanks for hosting us!

Great house!

  • 5 of 5

We were there for the long Labor Day weekend with friends and had a great time. The location is very convenient to go to the lake and the house has everything you might need. We hope to be back!!

Nice property

  • 4 of 5

Overall the property was as pictured and nice. The kitchen is well stocked. The complex is quiet. Parking was tight, even in the summer. Most disappointed in the pool. It closes at 8:00 which seems odd when it was not even dark yet. Additionally we tried to use it during the day and it was at "capacity" so they would not let us in, even though there were only a few people actually in the pool. It seemed everyone else was just sunning in the chairs. I wasn't a fan of having to wash all the bedding and do all the dishes at check out. This on top of a $200 cleaning fee seems a bit much. There are 6 beds in the condo which can take quite awhile to wash. All in all it is a nice property, but if you are looking for a nice fun pool this probably is not the one for you.

The unit was clean and comfortable with easy access to the main road. All the amenities that you would need are provided and made the stay in Tahoe more enjoyable.

Spacious, Central

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of 7 adults and everyone in the group commented on how much they loved staying here. The place was spacious and comfortable. It was a quick drive to the lake, grocery store, and Northstar. The customer service (we had trouble finding the unit) was also great!

fyi, Goolge Map direction takes you to the adjacent complex. It's useful to look up a map of this complex if you're arriving at night.

Enjoyable experience

  • 4 of 5

Really nice kitchen and and bathrooms. Loved the fireplace. One queen bed was super high off of the ground, which was odd but manageable. We had two families with four kids total and the space worked well.
