Siesta Key Beach: Siesta Key, with its world renown white sandy beaches, is a must see destination when visiting Sarasota, Florida which is located on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. Siesta key beach has won awards for several years for being one of the best beaches.
Siesta Key tends to offer a quieter and more relaxed night out and most bars and restaurants have outdoor seating, which attract the beach crowd during the day. At night, most bars have live music and is really a wonderful atmosphere. Sample some of the most delicious fresh fish and then sit back and relax and listen and sample some of the local cocktails or listen to some of the great bands play.
St Armands circle: St. Armands is an enchanting circle of fine shops and gourmet restaurants. Renowned as a market place with a continental flavor, it is a charming and graceful synthesis of past and present. Lush tropical plantings, courtyards and patios, antique statuary and contemporary architectural design skillfully contribute to an international atmosphere of friendly warmth, enduring elegance, and timeless style. Relax in the restaurants, explore the shops - from trinkets to treasures, gourmet snacks to candlelight feasts, you'll find it all on St. Armands Circle.
My husband and I stayed December 1 through February 1, 2015. Spacious living area with comfortable furniture. Pool with lanai is totally private. Plenty of sleeping room for a larger family or guests. Lots of nice towels even a few beach towels to take to the beach. Two adult bicycles to use. We would highly recommend this home for your vacation.
This was my first booking ever on VRBO and I was concerned about how the experience would go and if it was open to scamming. Booking through the website was easy and I was given a lockbox code to enter the house on the night I arrived.
I booked this house with my then fiancee to have a space to get ready for our wedding and a place to relax at after the marriage. We found the house nicely renovated inside, with a very pretty backyard, tons of seating, and a nice open and spacious floorplan. Everything was very clean when we arrived, and the furniture comfortable.
The place isn't right on the beach but that's fine as you get more space for your money.
I'd rent the house again.
Our family stayed at this home for a relaxing retreat to recover from spending a week at Disney World. The house itself is perfect and the furnishings were very nice. We spent each day at the beach and enjoyed playing in the pool in the evenings. The Siesta Key sand is amazing as referenced. The beach is not within walking distance, but you can easily bike there or just take the short drive. The owners were very responsive and worked hard to make our stay a memorable one. We plan to return to the house in the near future.
We really liked our stay here in December and January, away from the snow and cold of western New York. Plenty of room for us, our 3-year-old twins, and the twins' grandparents. The property was well-maintained--when we had a problem with the cable or when a storm knocked out a small part of the lanai, the property management service was out to fix it immediately. They even had waiting for us when we arrived a fully decorated and lighted Xmas tree. The pool was great, just the right temperature and size. The house is on a nice quiet street, but at the same time within an easy drive or quick bike ride to the beach and all of the shops and restaurants in Siesta Key Village. It was a bit too far for the kids to walk to the beach, but I went running from the house to the beach every day. All and all it was ideal!
Title says it all. Good place for the money. No complaints. It could have been closer to the beach/shopping, but I think you know that going in.
