Our first trip to Paris

We really enjoyed our stay in St. Germaine on Rue Bonaparte. The apartment was perfect, quiet and close to all of the major attractions. Annie was very helpful on providing us important information on getting around Paris. She speaks English very well and a very nice person. I would recommend to all of my fiends to stay here. It was a wonderful experience.

Great 1-bedder in a top location

I stayed here for 4 nights in July and was really happy with the apartment. Managed by a lovely couple, Annie and Marc, who couldn't have been more helpful, the apartment was exactly like the photos and was spotlessly clean and quiet (overlooking an inner courtyard). In a great location - only a 2 minute walk to the cafes of St Germain , and a 5 minute walk to the life on rue de buci/Odeon. The apartment was well-equipped with a washer/dryer, coffee-making equipment etc and the small bench kitchen seemed to have everything necessary (but I didn't use it as went out for all my meals). Would definitely stay again!

Central location in the lively 6th

A great location for exploring Paris. The apartment is in the heart of the lively 6th arrondissement, close to galleries, shops, and—especially noted—fabulous restaurants on Rue de Seine (highly recommend the incomparable Semilla for a splurge, as well as the less-expensive Freddy’s next door, and Cosi for sandwiches) and Rue de Buci (Boulangerie Paul is a go-to source for morning coffee and pain-au-chocolat). It’s a short walk to the Musee d’Orsay, Louvre, Notre Dame, and other tourist sites, and the Metro stop at Saint-Germain-des-Prés is steps away, giving easy access to the entire city. The apartment itself is charming, clean, and nicely decorated. Taller guests might find the shower, located beside/under the slanting mansard roof, a little challenging, and other reviews have noted the number of steps to the apartment. That said, I found the space comfortable and nice to come home to after a long day of work (I was on a business trip). Annie is very friendly and helpful, and communication was excellent throughout my stay. I was especially grateful to find the kitchen stocked with coffee and milk, as well as small treats like fruit and cookies on the table and a cold beer awaiting my arrival in the refrigerator. Highly recommended apartment and host!

Outstanding

My wife and I visited wonderful Paris for 7 days. Annie's apartment is in a great location allowing us to walk to all the main Paris attractions in this part of the city. There are many great restaurants, galleries, transport etc close by. The apartment, while compact is very clean and comfortable and bigger than most hotel rooms in Paris. Having a kitchen is a big bonus. Be aware of the number of stairs but for reasonably fit people it shouldn't be an issue especially as Annie is happy to arrange for suitcases to be delivered to the apartment. The shower is also a little tricky for taller people. We loved Paris and Annie's willingness to help and advise made our stay very special. Highly recommended.

A delightful property in a wonderful district of Paris

My wife and I really enjoyed our 5 day stay at the apartment. The location makes it ideal for those wishing to explore the delights of Paris as it is central to the many attractions - bars, galleries, museums and shops available to entice tourists. Annie made us extremely welcome and helped us settle quickly, acting as our tour guide and providing helpful advice in selecting good local restaurants from the many in close proximity to the apartment. We would heartily recommend the apartment but on a note of caution, be aware the flat is on the fourth floor and accessed via a charming but steep staircase which some might find challenging after a day's sightseeing. A small but important point, all in all however, a thoroughly enjoyable weekend.Our sincere thanks to Annie for her kind hospitality.
