Beautiful, lush Oasis in Taxco.
This was my second stay at Casa de las palmas. If I’m coming Taxco means coming to stay at Las Palmas. It is a Oasis inside of busy streets of Taxco. Very private, safe and you can relax here. Extra poin for the Great view of the city. Beautifully decorated to fit to the colonial feeling of traditional Mexcan villa with a spacious garden... I truly enjoy the stay here and almost I don’t need to go out! The breakfast is superb by the chef, Emanuel who just graduated from the culinary school in Mexico City and he has a special touch. I enjoyed the fresh Orange juice, breads and eggs or Mexican breakfast every morning in the beautiful garden. The family who take care of Casa is very hospitable and kind. Make you feel at home.
Wow...This Place is a Jewel
We had an amazing stay at this historic jewel in the heart of Taxco, and it will definitely not be our last. Perfect location. We rented the whole villa. Spacious and well appointed beyond expectation, it felt like a home away from home. You know how wonderful an experience is when you recognize you don't want to leave (before you have to) and you spend time while you are there already planning your next visit. Oscar & family perfectly balanced attentiveness with privacy, not to mention some amazing breakfasts tailored to our preferences. Josue went above and beyond to accommodate our interests. Truly spectacular!
Spectacular residence nestled in the city of Taxco, yet quiet and close enough to walk to the markets and historic churches. Housekeepers Oscar and Sylvia are very helpful and kind. The two nice dogs are friendly but they might bark sometimes to protect the property's entrance. We felt very safe. Residence is built in a historic way, but also has modern amenities. There was a TV, but we didn't need to use it, there was so much beauty everywhere in and around the property. The garden would even be a good place to have a small wedding! Beds were comfortable and clean. The furniture is a little dated, but fits nicely with the historic Spanish decor. Breakfast of fresh fruit, granola, yogurt and juice, coffee, etc. Nice hike up to the statue of Christo and many other hidden nooks and crannies along the way. Fabulous. We would stay here again!
