Country-like setting! We're 25 min. to Denver, 20 min. to Boulder, 30 min DIA, 1 hr to mtns (skiing, climbing, hiking), restaurants and dining w/in 1 mile, lots of activities. Quiet with fabulous view of the mountains.
This is a home-share with owners. Space is well divided and neither party disturbs the other. Rental space is the entire lower level -- walk-out to Koi Pond and private patio and private entrance. Hosts live upstairs.

A nice, safe area with off-street parking. Cozy, nice people, central location. Has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchenette and family room. Great for couples, solo adventurers, and families & will work for 6 adults (in some cases more by adding 2 air mattresses).
UNFORTUNATELY, NO CHILDREN UNDER 6 YRS OLD! Because of the Koi Pond, this property is not really suitable for small children.

This is a home share rental! Owners occupy the upper level and are offering the lower level apartment, with 2 bedrooms, bath and kitchenette (microwave, plus other small appliances).
This lower level of our home is roomy, safe and full of amenities. We have a backyard Koi pond and covered deck off the rental area for outside enjoyment. There are two separate bedrooms, one bathroom and a kitchenette area with table and chairs. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other has a trundle bed -- can be made up as two singles or pushed together for a king-sized bed. Both bedrooms have overstuffed chairs for reading and relaxing.
In the kitchenette, there is a full sized refrigerator with ice-maker. A microwave, an electric tea kettle, toaster/oven and single serve coffee maker is provided. We also can provide other small appliances for your convenience. Maid service is not provided daily, but available for $10/day.
We are an older, semi-retired (but still active) couple. We may or may not be home at any given time. We welcome our guests to come and go freely, but remain in the lower level. While we are basically private people, we are very excited to share our home and want our guests to feel free to contact us with any questions, requests or feedback. We'll always try to meet and fulfill any reasonable requests.
In the event of snow covering the driveway, etc. The owners have a small tractor with plow and try to keep the driveway free of snow for their own convenience, as well as the convenience of our guests. The walkway around to the back, lower entrance will not be shoveled by the owners. In inclimate weather and after dark (and any other time really), guests are welcome to enter through the front door. Please remove shoes at the door and then proceed down the steps to the rental area.
Pets have not lived in this home for many years, therefore it is perfect for people with allergies to pet hair. We also attempt to use natural, chemical-free products as much as possible to avoid additional allergic reactions.
This quiet, happy neighborhood is great for walking, biking, resting and relaxing. The little town of Erie has a breakfast/lunch cafe (Rose's Cafe); two Mexican restaurants for lunch and dinner (Azteca and Casita La Mariachi); there are a couple of breweries (Echo) and a cidery, pizza, sports bar and new places opening up all the time. A really good lunch and dinner place - 24 Carrot Bistro -- is also open (but a little pricey). This is a growing area and great local vendors are responding with terrific spots!
In the Summer we have a Farmer's Market every Thursday evenings from 5-8 pm on Briggs St. (our "main downtown" street).
Because our area is rural suburban, there is not convenient public transportation. It is important that our guests have their own transportation. We are 30 minutes from the Denver Airport, 15 minutes from Denver, 15 minutes from Boulder. There are also two more cities, Lafayette and Longmont within 10-15 minutes with more great restaurants, shopping, museums and other activities.
