About Julieta Slattery, owner
Former New Orleans resident and his wife purchased this home in their favorite neighborhood as a home away from home and their eventual retirement residence. In the meantime, they wish to share their beautiful home with other New Orleans afficionados.
Julieta Slattery, owner purchased this House in 2012
Why Julieta Slattery, owner chose Irish Channel
They chose this home because of its classic New Orleans architecture and its fully modernized amenities. It has all of the of home but is unmistakably New Orleans! Our block was recently featured in an article in the New Orleans Times Picayune.

Perfect for our family of 6 - Great location.
This double-shotgun house was enjoyed by all during our family vacation (3 couples). It's an easy walk to Magazine St for shopping or the bus and then a few blocks more to St. Charles for the street car. A well equipped kitchen if you want to cook, or nearby eating choices such as The Bulldog, The Ruby Slipper, Atchafalaya or Red Dog Diner. Buy some pralines from neighbor Miss Shelia. The owner is pleasant, prompt and professional to deal with.
Lovely house in a great location
Julieta was a gracious host and her house was a great location for our family to gather. The house is walking distance to the trolley to the zoo and French quarter. The neighborhood is quiet. Thanks for a great stay!
Perfect NOLA experience!
Comfy beds, cozy and quiet, while being close to everything. Decor is beautiful, as pictured -- lovely personal touches, and high quality furnishings. Street parking was easy and neighbors were very nice! We loved having a master suite bathroom separate from other guests full bathroom with their own tub. Would 100% stay again if available. Thanks again for sharing your home.
Beautifully decorated comfortable home in a great neighborhood!
We stayed there with our adult children. We were comfortable and the space is open and fun for a group. The neighborhood is the best! Wonderful restaurants and interesting shops are within walking distance.
The home, furnishings, surroundings and accessibility to restaurants and fun places to go.
The hostess was very helpful .. even helped us find a wonderful babysitter. The house was well furnished. Looking forward to staying there again
Fabulous vacation, really cute house!
This charming house was the center piece of a great vacation. Who knew New Orleans had so much great stuff to do- and the house is so conveniently located. We will definitely have to come back.
Three short blocks to Magazine Street's lively restaurants and watering holes, boutiques, gelato and yogurt shops, and antique emporiums. Walking distance to St. Charles Avenue streetcar and world famous Commander's Palace.
