About Patricia McLaughlin

After dividing my time between Pudget Sound and Washington DC as I grew up I moved to Italy for four years before settling in Colorado. Breckenridge became a part time home to enjoy with my four children and their families.

Patricia McLaughlin purchased this house in 2003

Why Patricia McLaughlin chose Baldy Mountain

The open floor plan and gourmet kitchen of this house has provided many hours of joy to family and friends. Enjoy the closet full of board games while you sit by the fire, or snuggle up with a great book.

What makes this house unique

This house is very well equipped for a family ski vacation! The kitchen has everything you could think for cooking, and there are lots of games. Being allowed to bring our dogs made it a great choice for us. Thank you.

It had everything you would want in a vacation home.

  • 5 of 5

My family of eight adults stayed ten nights at the Breckenridge Home. All the rooms are a nice size so you don't feel crowded. The kitchen is well furnished so it is easy to fix meals. The best part of the house is the large deck. You have great views of the mountains and wildlife. Bird watching was fun seeing bird we don't have at home. There was always lots of birds and ground squirrel to watch with AM coffee. In the evening we had a visit from a fox and porcupine. Nice sized hot tub for after hikes. There were no problems with the house, everything worked and was very clean. It was a great place for our family vacation.

Best Christmas Ever!

  • 5 of 5

My family enjoyed this beautiful home for 5 nights over Christmas. We were 6 adults, 3 preschoolers, a toddler, an infant, and a Golden Retriever! The house fit us perfectly and had every amenity we could ask for. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for meals at home, we didn't eat out once. We did venture out for skiing, walks around the neighborhood, playing in the snow, and a stroll through town, but the coziness of the house kept pulling us back in! Patricia was amazing to deal with! She answered every call and email I made with kindness and patience. We definitely made memories in the "Christmas House," as our Grandsons called it! We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a fabulous mountain vacation!

Great House!

  • 4 of 5

What a great home. It slept seven adults comfortably. The kitchen was amazing, not to mention the wine fridge. We all enjoyed how the living room was set up for conversation. It was also very nice being able to park in the garage. But, my favorite part was the hot tub. Quick access to Main St is a plus. We liked it so much, we booked it again the very next weekend. Our friend's kids enjoyed sled riding down the driveway. We'll see you again soon. Thanks!

Family Ski Vacation

  • 5 of 5

The house was great, and better & larger than I thought from the photos. We had plenty of room in the kitchen, dining room, and living room to entertain our multi-family vacation. The neigborhood was great, and the house was just a quick drive to Breckenridge's main street, or a leisurely 20 minute stroll.

I would recommend this to friends and family again!

Breckenridge Resort
Car: recommended

The original mining town of Breckenridge was founded in the 1850 and is still home for the Gold Pan Saloon that is one of the oldest standing bars west of the Mississippi. The world class ski resort opened in 1961 and now boasts the highest high speed quad lift in North America reaching 12,580 feet. Vast terrain includes trails for beginners as well as the most accomplished skier. But don’t stop at downhill. Enjoy the many cross country Nordic trails, snow shoeing, snowmobiling and ice skating during the winter. Don’t miss the many cultural events at the Breckenridge River Walk Center during both summer and winter. Dine in world class restaurants and visit the many shops along Main Street. Fill summer days with hiking, fishing, biking, horseback riding and golf. Take a short 9 mile drive to Lake Dillon for those who enjoy canoeing and sailing.
